ACiQ-24AHB Next Gen Ducted Heat Pump System
Thank you for purchasing a Next Gen Heat Pump system from ACiQ. This system gives you the benefits of a variable, inverter heat pump condenser, combined with a smart air handler with a variable blower. This QuickStart guide covers how to connect the thermostat to control your system. It is not meant to replace the entire installation manual, and will not cover high voltage wiring, or refrigerant connections.
Connecting the provided thermostat
ACiQ’s provided thermostat is designed to operate the system at maximum efficiency with full programmability. Refer to the thermostat user’s manual for detailed instructions.
Using the supplied thermostat with your ACiQ Heat Pump is strongly recommended. Benefits include:

Connecting a 24v Thermostat with a communication wire connected
You can use any 24v thermostat. Select your thermostat profile from the options below and connect the communication wire between the consenser and air handler as shown. Set the dip swithces as shown below.

Using a 24v thermostat without a communication wire connected
You can use any 24v thermostat without connecting a communication wire. You must connect the thermostat at both indoor and outdoor terminal blocks as shown. Set the dip switches as shown.

Set jumpers as shown to activate aux control (zone board, IAQ, dehumidifier, etc.) -

Set jumpers as shown to activate electric strip heat
