MARSAUTO 9006XS Power Sport Lighting

PRE-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read these instructions carefully before installing Marsauto bulbs.

ATTENTION:

1. Before installing the bulbs, please make sure that the lights are not damaged orbroken, and have not fallen on the ground or been subject to impact. If this has happened, please do not install the bulbs on your vehicle.
2. The temperature of the bulb when operating can be very high. Keep the bulb away from flammable materials, such as paper cloth and other materials.
3. Keep the bulbs away from areas that are exposed to flames or prone to combustion, and areas with high amounts of dust.
4. This product can only be used on road-legal automotive vehicles.
5. Please wear work gloves during installation.
6. Do not switch on the bulbs until the installation is finished.
7. If the bulb flashes or warnings show up on the vehicle dashboard, please connect the resistor (CANbus) to ensure correct operation.
8. If any problems still cannot be resolved under the guidance of this manual, please feel free to contact our customer support team.

WARNING:

1. The temperature of the bulb surface can reach very high temperatures. Do not touch this area with bare hands or allow any skin contact as it may result in severe burns.
2. The light intensity is very high while turned on. Do not look directly into the beam to avoid possible damage to the eyes.
3. Do not wash the vehicle when the are turned on. Sudden changes in temperature to the housing may cause damage to, or an unexpected reaction from the .

LIGHTING TEST

1. Remove the original bulb from the vehicle connector.
2. Attach the bulb connector to the vehicle connector.
3. Turn on your bulb and test for correct lighting, both high beam and low beam.
4. Check if any warning signs show up on the vehicle dashboard. If no warnings occur, the test is finished.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

H1/H3/H4/H7/9004/9007

1. Remove the vehicle’s rubber cover and original bulb.
2. Holding the bulb by the heat sink, twist the locking ring counter-clockwise until it unlocks, and then remove it.
3. Install the locking ring to the vehicle’s light housing and fix it in place using the bulb spring.
4. Insert the bulb through the secured locking ring.
5. Press down the bulb, and turn it clockwise until it can’t turn anymore to lock it in place.
6. Connect the bulb’s connector with the original vehicle connect.

H8/H9/H 10/H 11/H13/H 16/9005/9006/9012

1. Remove the original rubber cover and original bulb.
2. Insert the bulb into the light housing.
3. While pressing the bulb down, turn it clockwise until it does not turn anymore and then lock the bulb in place.
4. Connect the bulb’s connector with the original vehicle connector.

ADDITIONAL ADVICE

1. Please ensure this product has been purchased from an authorized sales channel.
2. After installation, check that the high and low beams and other electrical equipment on the dashboard operate normally and that no warnings occur.
3. Do not put the driver box below heating components or any moveable parts inside the engine compartment. This may cause the driver to overheat and possibly malfunction.
4. Do not tie cables to heating components or any moveable parts.
5. Please ensure that the driver box and cable does not interfere with other components in the engine hood.
6. Do not bend the cables excessively, especially near the driver or the heat sink area.
7. This product may contain small parts, and we strongly advise you to keep this product away from infants and children, so as to prevent a choking hazard or possible injury.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Warning

1. The resistor (CANbus) is polarity sensitive. If the bulbs do not function properly after installation, please reverse the resistor’s (CANbus) male connector 180 degrees and try again.
2. If the problem still cannot be resolved after using the resistors (CANbus) or if you have any questions, please contact our customer support team.

WARRANTY TERMS

Marsauto warrants its goods to be free from defects in material and/or workmanship under normal non-commercial use and service for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Marsauto does not warrant its goods against any defects or damage caused by transportation, storage, improper installation and maintenance, internal or external hostile environments, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, modification, tampering, the attachment of any unauthorized accessory, alteration to the goods, or any other conditions whatsoever that cause a defect or failure of the product. Marsauto’s sole responsibility under this warranty shall be, at its option, to either repair or replace any goods which fail during the warranty period, provided that buyer has promptly reported the said failure to Marsauto in writing, and complies with the provisions of this warranty.
