MIJIA 2 Pro Thermostatic Electric Kettle

Matters Needing Attention

• Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the product and keep it in a safe place.

• This product is for home use only.

• Do not allow persons lacking in physical, perceptual and mental strength or experience and common sense to use this product without supervision or instruction.

• Do not allow young children to use this product as a toy.

• This product should be kept out of the reach of children.

• You must ensure that the kettle is disconnected from the power supply in the following cases: when there is no water in the kettle, when refilling the kettle, when the kettle is not in use when cleaning or moving the kettle when there is a problem with the kettle.

• Prohibit the use of this product on an inclined or unstable countertop, and away from heat sources to avoid damage to the plastic parts; not close to or placed on any electrical appliances.

• It is necessary to use a separate grounded socket with a rated current of 10A and above and a rated voltage of 220V~, do not share a socket with other electrical appliances.

• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its maintenance department or a professional from a similar department to avoid danger.

• Do not open the lid, pour or refill the kettle during operation.

• If the electric kettle is too full, boiling water may burst out.

• This product can only be used for boiling water, do not heat other objects except water (such as nori, eggs, soy milk, tea, milk, noodles, etc.), otherwise the product may fail to function.

• When adding water, do not exceed the rated maximum water level, otherwise, the hot water will overflow or spray out, resulting in water leakage from the electric kettle. When boiling water, add water must exceed the minimum water level, dry burning is prohibited.

• Electric kettles are only used on the supplied power base.

• The electric kettle must be used with the accompanying connector.

• When adding water, please remove the electric kettle from the power base, and be sure to dry the watermark at the bottom of the electric kettle before putting it back.

• Do not put the electric kettle near the stove, stove and other heat sources, to avoid accidental ignition and fire.

• Do not use an inferior wiring board to switch, to avoid the risk of fire.

• Do not immerse the electric kettle in water. Do not tilt, sway, move or tip when powered on.

Control Area Description

Connect to the MIJIA APP

This product has been connected to MIJIA and can be controlled through MIJIA APP.

1. Scan the QR code, download and install the MIJIA APP. Users who have installed the MIJIA APP will directly enter the device connection page. Or search for “MIJIA” in the APP store to download and install the MIJIA app.
2. Open the home page of the MIJIA APP, click “+” in the upper right corner of the page, and search for nearby devices or “MIJIA thermostatic electric Kettle 2 Pro” according to the prompts of the APP to manually add devices.

Tip:
Due to the upgrade and update of the MIJIA APP, the actual operation may be slightly different from the above description, please follow the current instructions in the MIJIA APP.

Constant temperature

In the standby state, hold down the Set Temperature key for 7 seconds to enter the Wi-Fi setting mode. At this time, the Wi-Fi indicator is blinking, and the user needs to set the network through the MIJIA APP. After the setting is successful, the Wi-Fi indicator is steady on and the buzzer sounds.

After connecting the power cable, you can start using it.

1. Function selection
   In the standby state, rotate the knob to select the temperature, press the set temperature or boil key, and automatically enter the heating or heat preservation state, no operation within 2 minutes, the display screen will automatically turn off. Press either of the “Boil” or “Set temperature” buttons, or lift the kettle, and the display will wake up and light up (this will only light up the display, not activate the function). After the screen is on, you can perform other operations.
   Tip: Rotate the knob by default 40 ° C ~90 ° C per 1 ° C can be adjusted, can also be set in the Mijia APP to adjust according to gear, and can set 6 gear temperature, the default four gear is 45 ° C, 60 ° C, 70 ° C, 85 ° C, can also add two custom temperature gear.

2. Automatic heat preservation after boiling
   Turn the knob to the fixed temperature, and then press the “boil” button to start heating. The display screen displays the real-time water temperature. After heating and boiling, the temperature drops to the fixed temperature and automatically enters the heat preservation state.

3. During the heating process, the status light of the display screen will show red, and when the set temperature is reached, the status light of the display screen will show blue.

4. The default holding time of each gear is 24 hours, which can also be customized and modified in the Mijia APP. The APP can be adjusted for 1-24 hours.

5. The maximum temperature after boiling is shown to be 99°C.

6. Heat directly to the holding temperature
   Turn the knob to set the temperature, press the “fixed temperature” button, and start heating, the display screen displays the real-time water temperature, after heating, automatically enter the heat preservation state.
   Tip: In the standby state, when the water temperature of the kettle is within the range of 40~90°C, click the set temperature button, you can directly enter the heat preservation state according to the current temperature.

7. Bring to a boil
   Press the “Boil” button to start heating, and the display will show the real- time water temperature. After the heating is completed, the water will cool naturally.
   Tip: When the water temperature drops after boiling, the mode light and status light will be turned off. When the water temperature is lower than 45°C, the display screen will be turned off.

8. Remove heat
   In the heating state, press the “constant temperature” or “Boil” button again to cancel the heating.

9. Make pot memories
   In the process of heat preservation, after lifting the kettle, the display displays “-“, put it back within 3 minutes, the electric kettle continues to warm, put it back after more than 3 minutes, the electric kettle exits heat preservation and returns to the standby state.
   Tip: The teapot memory function is enabled by default and can be turned off in the APP.

10. Do Not Disturb mode
    The Do not Disturb mode can be enabled in the APP. After it is enabled, the status light and prompt tone will be cancelled.

Warranty Content

Cleaning and maintenance

1. Soak in white vinegar
   Pour in 0.5L of edible white vinegar and soak for more than 1 hour.

2. Discard the white vinegar
   Remove the white vinegar from the pot and wipe away any sediment with a damp cloth

3. Boil water to clean
   Boil water, pour out the hot water, and then rinse with water 4-5 times.

4. Dry and store
   Clean the outside of the pot with a dry cloth. Place in a dry and ventilated place, and protect against dust, moisture and insects.

Note:

1. Please make sure that the power plug is removed from the socket before cleaning, and wait until the pot body is cooled.
2. To extend the service life of the electric kettle, the scale and sediment in the kettle should be cleaned regularly.
3. If the scale is serious, repeat the above operations. Do not use steel balls and any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
4. Do not immerse the electric kettle or power base in water, and keep the outside of the electric kettle dry.
