3 HEAT SETTINGS
To turn on and select setting, simply twist rotary switch at base of handle.

  • 6′ power cord

Styling Tips for Maximum Volume and Body

  1. Start by sectioning the hair. Be sure to comb through hair so it’s detangled.

  2. Turn the appliance on by selecting the desired heat setting based on hair type.

  3. Position the appliance in the hair close to the roots, and brush through the section.

  4. Move the brush through the hair toward the ends, and as you reach the end of the section, start to rotate the brush away from the head.

  5. As you do this, pull the brush downward. Tension created through the section of hair will help to smooth hair faster.
IMPORTANT! It may take several attempts to perfect this technique.

  6. For added root lift, hold the brush in place at the roots for a few seconds.

  7. For even more volume, rotate the brush, winding the entire section of hair around the barrel. Then leave the brush in the hair for a few seconds. Use Cool style setting to set style.

  8. To release the section, unwind the hair from the brush.

  9. Repeat as necessary.

  10. After use, switch off and unplug the appliance.

  11. Allow to cool before storing away.

Helpful Hints and Tips

  • To define layers and give shape to styles, follow step 4 and repeat through all sections.
  • To get root volume and body through the top section of hair, follow steps 3 to 6, but use an upward motion.
  • You can also create flips or tuck hair under. And it’s perfect for shaping bangs.

MPORTANT

Never immerse this product in water or any other liquids.

*IF YOU MUST USE YOUR HOT AIR STYLER IN THE BATHROOM, INSTALL A GFCI NOW!**

Your local electrician can help you decide which type is best for you – a portable unit that plugs into the electrical outlet or a permanent unit installed by your electrician. The National Electrical Code now requires GFCIs in the bathrooms, garages, and outdoor outlets of all new homes.

WHY DO YOU NEED A GFCI?

Symbol Electricity and water don’t mix. If your hot air styler falls in water while it’s plugged in, the electric shock can kill you…even if the switch is off. A regular fuse or circuit breaker won’t protect you under these circumstances. A GFCI offers you far greater protection.

A GFCI can save your life! Compared to that, the price is small! Don’t wait… install one now!

*A GFCI is a sensitive device that reacts immediately to a small electric current leak by stopping the electricity flow.

CLEANING AND USER MAINTENANCE

Your hot air brush is virtually maintenance free. No lubrication is needed. For proper operating performance, the hot air brush must be kept clean.

  • Unplug the appliance and let cool completely before cleaning it.
  • Use a damp cloth only to carefully clean the outer surface. Make sure the appliance is completely dry before using again.
  • The rear filter should be cleaned using a soft brush or the brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner on a regular basis to help prevent buildup and overheating. This will also prolong the motor life.

Blocked or clogged air intake vents will cause the hot air styler to overheat. If overheating occurs, an automatic safety device will shut the hot air styler or the heat off to prevent damage or personal injury. If the unit or the heat turns off, unplug the cord and allow the hot air styler to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before restarting. Make sure the air vents are clean.

CAUTION
NEVER allow the power-supply cord to be pulled, twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap the cord tightly around the hot air styler. Damage will occur at the high flex point of entry into the hot air styler, causing it to rupture and short circuit. Inspect the cord frequently for damage. Stop use immediately if damage is visible or unit stops or operates intermittently.

If the cord or hot air styler is damaged or does not operate properly, return it for repair to an authorized BaBylissPRO service representative only. No repairs should be attempted by the consumer.

STORAGE – IMPORTANT
When not in use, your hot air brush should be disconnected, allowed to cool and stored in a safe, dry location, out of reach of children. Do not wrap line cord around hot air styler. Allow the cord to hang or lie loose and straight at the point of entry into the hot air styler.
