Before each use
On the product, verify the absence of any cracks, deformation, marks, wear, corrosion…
Verify that the sheaves are in good condition and working properly.
Verify that the locking systems on the moving side plates are in good condition and working properly.
Verify that the attachment holes have no burrs or sharp edges that could damage any connected equipment.

During use
It is important to regularly monitor the condition of the product and its connections to the other equipment in the system. Make sure that all items of equipment are correctly positioned with respect to each other. Beware of situations that can affect product performance (e.g. dirty rope, poor positioning…).

Compatibility

Verify that this product is compatible with the other elements of the system in your application (compatible = good functional interaction).
Equipment used with your pulley must meet current standards in your country (e.g. EN 1891 rope).
The attachment hole is compatible with carabiners, slings or ropes.

WARNING: prolonged use with a connector can create wear and sharp edges that are dangerous if the attachment hole is then used with a rope or a sling.
Only connectors with a locking sleeve of less than 18 mm in ciameter can be rotated through the single attachment holes.

Opening and closing the pulleys

Beware of any rubbing on the unlocking button.
WARNING: if the red indicator on the unlocking button is visible, the pulley’s side plate is not locked: there is a risk of accidental opening.
