120 Gallon Arboreal Enclosure
Internal
dimensions: 231/4″ x 231/4″ x 471/2″
Weight: 371bs
You must assemble this enclosure on a hard surface, this will not assemble
correctly on carpet. When hammering all corners, try to make seams as tight as
possible
Step 1:
Remove film from all panels, on both sides, to include the glass door and
substrate panel.
There is film on the bottom of the assembled bottom panel. You can either
leave it, it is not visible since it is on the bottom. This is to avoid
scratching in transit, however, it is hard to get off since it is assembled in
the frame.
OR
You can use a box cutter or similar and very carefully cut along the fame.
Peel an edge and remove the film this way.
Step 2:
Take (B) Fully Assembled Bottom and 2 (H) Long L Shaped Bars (Back) and hammer
into existing corner connectors at the back of the enclosure.
Step 3:
Get 2 (I) Jointed Bars and (G) Short Logo Bar. Lining up the frame here will
be important. On the long part of the frame (above the “joint”), picture the
glass door opening and closing between this space. The flat metal part is what
stops the door, so that needs to be to the back. The logo bar faces the front.
Step 4:
Slide (E) Substrate Panel below the logo bar. Be sure you removed the film on
both sides.
Step 5:
Take all parts you just put together and place into the (B) Assembled bottom
as shown. The substrate panel goes on the bottom and should fit between the
frame slots. Hammer each side in evenly until both are fully attached into the
base.
Step 6:
Get (A) Back Panel and slide into the back frame slots. The back frame is
opposide of the logo bar.
Step 7:
Get both (C) Side Panels and place them into the side frame slots. The cable
port holes should be in the top back portion of the enclosure.
Step 8:
Get 2 (J) Cable Port Covers. These screw apart two ways. Unscrew as shown for
assembly, place the covered part into the exterior hole and screw the hollow
part onto that via the interior hole.
Important Note:
Cable port covers unscrew in two places. Once assembled, they can be turned to
remove the “cover” part when adding cables for interior lighting. Please be
aware, some species can turn these and possibly escape. If you do not have
interior lighting, you can use an aquarium/marine grade silicone to secure it
permanently.
Please be aware of cure times based on brand.
Step 9:
Get (F) Assembled Screen Top. There should be a sticker that says “This is the
front” but please be aware the the front frame of this should look different.
Three sides of the screen frame should have a “slot” where the panels go. The
fourth side should not have a slot, but instead, has one flat metal piece and
some rubber bumpers. Pay attention to this in case the manufacturer sticker
happens to be in the wrong location .
Step 10:
Take (F) Assembled Screen Top and hammer into the frame, with the front facing
front. The front is the side with the Logo Bar.
Step 11:
Get (Q) Short Door Pin (Bottom) and place in the bottom frame, either on the
left or right side depending on which way you want the door to swing open.
Place in the hole above the substrate barrier short-side down.
Step 12:
Get (P) Long Door Pin (Top) and (D) Glass Door. You will now line up the
bottom of the door into the bottom pin where the door has the plastic frame.
Put the bottom of the door hole into the bottom pin and line up the top part
of the door to the top hole. Now push the (P) Long Door Pin into the hole from
the top.
Ensure the pin also goes into the door hole.
Step 13:
Gather your (K) Combination Door Lock, (L) Door Lock Screws, (M) Door Lock
Nuts, and (N) Door Lock Glass Protectors. These will go onto the glass in this
order where there are pre-drilled holes:
Be sure the lock opens and closes the correct way. You should be able to turn the knob and see it open and close into the slot on the enclosure.
How to reset the code for your combination lock:
- Find the hole under the lock, press and hold while setting the password using (S) Door Lock Reset Pin.
- Release after changing the code to complete the setting.
- If you want to reset the password, press and hold the hole again using the door lock reset pin and set the numbers back to 000 first.
