Product Usage Instructions

Setup

  1. Attach wheel kit:
    • Do not remove the generator from the pallet until the wheels are fully installed.
  2. Remove generator from the pallet:
    • Remove the wooden block from behind the support leg.
    • Slide the unit forward until the wheels touch the ground.
    • Raise the handle to pull the unit out from the wood pallet.
  3. Connect the battery:
    • Cut cable tie on each side of the battery connector.
    • Push two halves of the battery connector together tightly.
  4. Add oil:
    • Recommended oil: 5W-30, up to 37.2 fl. oz. (1100ml). Do not overfill.
  5. Add fuel:
    • Add Gasoline, Propane (LPG), or Natural Gas (NG) as fuel options.

Starting the Engine Gasoline

  1. Turn the fuel select dial to the GASOLINE ON position.
  2. Pull the choke knob to the CHOKE position.
  3. Press and hold the ignition switch to the START position.
  4. Push the choke knob into the RUN position.

Propane (LPG) and Natural Gas

  1. Open the propane tank or natural gas valve.
  2. Turn the fuel select dial to PROPANE ON or NATURAL GAS ON position.
  3. Pull the choke knob to the CHOKE position.
  4. Press and hold the ignition switch to the START position for 2-3 seconds.
  5. Push the choke knob into the RUN position.

Important Safety Reminders

  • Only use outside and far away from windows, doors, and vents.
  • Do not use E15 or E85 gasoline for operation.
  • Never start or stop the generator with electrical devices connected or turned on.

NOTICE

  • Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. Heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.

SET UP

  1. Attach wheel kit. Assembly > Install the Wheel Kit
    • DO NOT REMOVE the generator from the pallet until the wheels have been fully installed.
  2. Remove generator from the pallet. Assembly > Install the Wheel Kit
  3. Remove the wooden block from behind the support leg.

  6. Connect the battery. Assembly > Connect the Battery

STARTUP

  • Add fuel – Gasoline or Propane (LPG), or Natural Gas (NG) Assembly > Add Fuel
  • FOR GASOLINE OPERATION: DO NOT USE E15 OR E85
  • DO NOT plug in any electrical devices.
  • Starting the Engine: Gasoline
  1. Turn the fuel select dial to the “GASOLINE ON” position
  2. Pull the choke knob to the “CHOKE” position.
  3. Press and hold the ignition switch to the “START” position.
  4. Push the choke knob into the “RUN” position.

  6. Press and hold the ignition switch to the “START” position.
