When the power is ON, the temperature of the solder tip ranges from 180°C
to 480°C (356° F to 896°F), and the temperature of the heat gun ranges from
100°C to 500°C (212° F to 932°F). Failing to comply with the instructions
below may cause injury to the users or damage to the unit
To avoid injuries to people and maintain a safe work environment, please
follow the instructions below:
- Never allow any person to touch the solder tip, the heat gun and the nozzle.
- Do not direct the hot air to anyone.
- Turn off the unit and make it cool down before any replacement or installation.
- Children are not allowed to play with the unit.
To prevent accidents or damage to the unit, please observe the instructions below.
- Do not strike or hit the unit. The quartz glass in the heat gun may be broken due to physical shock.
- Keep the unit away from combustible gases or flammable materials during operation.
- Please ensure the parts fit the unit before replacing them.
- Make sure the unit is grounded. Always connect the power to a grounded receptacle.

Heating element replacement
Please replace the heating element if it’s broken after inspection. After
completing the replacement, please assemble all the parts based on the steps
of removing the heating element, but in reverse order.
Maintenance
Please follow the instructions below to ensure the soldering station works
smoothly.
-
Tin the new soldering iron tip
Soldering iron tip is a consumable item. Proper use and maintenance can extend the service life of the soldering ron tip. Before using a new soldering iron tip for the first time, adjust the temperature of the soldering iron to 200°C.
Apply a layer of tin on the soldering iron tip. After the soldering tip sucks the tin sufficiently, clean t on the cleaning sponge. Then adjust the temperature to 300°C, repeat the tinning steps above, and finally set the temperature to the appropriate operation temperature. -
Daily Maintenance
A. Before each use, the soldering iron tip should be cleaned on the cleaning sponge, re-tinned, and then used for soldering operations. B. Prohibit the soldering ron tip for a long time to stay in too high a temperature, easy to make the iron tip surface plating layer cracking.
C. Do not allow excessive pressure or friction of the soldering iron tip on the solder joint during soldering, as this process will not mprove thermal conductivity but rather damage the soldering iron tip.
D.Before shutting down, clean the soldering tip. And then be sure to apply a layer of tin to the tip’s surface. -
The cleaning of oxidation on the soldering iron tip’s surface.
A.When black oxidation or dirt appears on the tin-plated part of the soldering iron tip, which cannot be tinned, it should be cleaned immediately with a cleaning sponge.
B.First adjust the soldering iron temperature to 200°(, then clean the soldering ron tip with a cleaning sponge, and then tin t. Repeat this process until the oxidation s completely cleaned.
C. If there s a thick layer of oxidation on the soldering iron tip, it can be gently
wiped with the alcohol or a 600-800 grit sand cloth based on the actual
condition. -
Replace the soldering iron tip
When replacing the soldering iron tip, please use the 900 series soldering iron tip of this brand. Before the replacement, please turn off the soldering station power and wait for the soldering iron tip temperature to drop to room temperature. Then take off the soldering iron tip, clean the debris nside the sleeve. After replacing with a new soldering iron tip, please tin it by following the steps of “Tin the new soldering iron tip” above.
