VitaDry Pro Digital Food Dehydrator
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years old and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children unless they are over 8 years old and are under supervision. Keep this appliance and its power cable out of reach of children under the age of 8.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the Technical Support Service of Cecotec or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other part of the appliance in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- WARNING: take precautions to avoid spillage of liquids on the cable.
- WARNING: incorrect or improper use can be dangerous for the user and damage the appliance. Use the appliance only for the purposes described in this manual.
- The surface of the heating element is subject to residual heat after use.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.
- Do not use outdoors, near a gas or electric hob, in heated ovens, or near open flames.
- Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop and prevent it from touching hot surfaces.
- Never leave the device unattended during use.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug are damaged, if it’s not working properly, or has been damaged in any way. Contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
- The appliance can reach high temperatures during use. Do not touch the surface or the food inside the container during operation.
- Do not move the appliance when it contains liquids or food.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains immediately after use and before cleaning or maintenance.
- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with the appliance.

BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

OPERATION
First use
- Smoke may come out of the appliance during the first use: this is normal and will disappear soon. Make sure that the appliance is well ventilated.
- Make sure that all parts of the appliance are included and in good condition.
- To clean the appliance properly, follow the instructions in the “Cleaning and maintenance” section.
- Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling the appliance and resuming use.
Operation

Plug the power cord into a mains socket: the appliance will emit an acoustic signal and the display will show OFF.

Then, press the power button to turn the device on.
Note: After 10 seconds of inactivity, the values on the display will light up steadily, and the appliance will operate with the default time and temperature settings. -
Press the select button to display the temperature. Press the increase or decrease button to adjust the temperature from 35 to 70 °C.

Press the select button to display the time. Press the increase or decrease button to adjust the time from 0.5 to 24 hours.

After 10 seconds of inactivity, the set time and temperature values will light up steadily on the display. The appliance will operate according to the set time and temperature, and the display will show a countdown. At the end of the countdown, the display will show OFF, and the appliance will beep and switch off; the fan will continue to run for 2 more minutes after switching off.

- The space between one tray and another is 15 mm.
- Remove one or more trays depending on the size of the food to be dehydrated.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the device and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the housing of the appliance. Do not use metallic or abrasive tools to avoid damaging the inner metal coating.
- Wash the trays with water and dry them thoroughly before reuse. Do not use strong detergents.
- Before storing the appliance, make sure that it is completely cool, clean, and dry.
