Plug replacement

This appliance is supplied with a BS1363 3 pin plug fitted with a 3 Amp fuse. Should the fuse require replacement, it must be replaced with a fuse rated at 3 Amp and approved to BS1362.In the event the mains plug has to be removed/replaced for any reason, please note:

IMPORTANT: THE WIRES IN THE MAINS LEAD ARE COLOURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CODE:

Blue or Black -­ N – (Neutral)
Brown or Red ­- L (Live)

4. Cord Clamp

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows.

• The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked with an N or coloured black.
• The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked with an L or coloured red.

WARNING! NEVER CONNECT LIVE OR NEUTRAL WIRES TO THE EARTH TERMINAL OF THE PLUG.

Assembly

The fan is packaged with some parts unattached and requiring a little, simple assembly.

WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE UNTIL FULLY ASSEMBLED AND WITH ALL PARTS CORRECTLY ATTACHED.

Operate the fan only in the upright position.

1. Unpack the fan and remove all the parts from the package. Retain the packaging until assembly is complete.
2. Put the two halves of the base together. See step 1.
3. Position the base on the bottom of the fan, put the power cord through the base and make sure clasps on tower fan body is align with the holes on the base. See step 2.
4. Then rotate the base clockwise until the it is locked. Finally thread the power cord into the guide on the bottom of the base by gently pressing the wire into the clamps. See step 3.

Functions & Settings

Controls

Press selection button to choose desired speed.

• “1” for low,
• “2” for medium,
• “3” for high,
• “0” for power off
• “ ” for oscillation

Oscillation

Press the ” button on the top of the fan begin oscillation. Press again to stop.

Timer operation

For timer operation, turn the timer control clockwise to operate the fan for the selected duration.

Note that with the power disconnected, the timer will continue to count down and stop at the `0′ position. When the fan is reconnected to the mains, the timer control will need to be adjusted for either timed or continuous operation.

Care & maintenance

Unplug your fan and wait for rotation to stop before cleaning.

Clean the outside of the fan only with a soft dry cloth.

WARNING:

• Do not immerse the fan in water.
• Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners.
• Do not allow your fan to get wet.
• When the fan is not in use, unplug it.
• Store in a cool and dry place.
• In case of malfunction or doubt, do not try to repair the fan yourself, refer servicing to a qualified person.
