Usage Instructions

Preparation

  1. Ensure that the device is placed on a stable and flat surface.

  2. Check that the power cord is not damaged before connecting it to the power supply.

  3. Make sure that all parts of the appliance are clean and dry before use.

  4. Refer to the label on the device for specific technical data and information.
    Operating the Device

  5. Turn on the device by pressing the ON/OFF/REV button.

  6. Place the meat or other ingredients into the feeding tube.

  7. Select the desired grinding plate based on the desired texture of the meat.

  8. Use the pusher to gently push the ingredients into the feeding tube while the device is running.

  9. Continue grinding until the desired amount of meat has been processed.

  10. Once finished, turn off the device by pressing the ON/OFF/REV button.

  11. Clean all parts of the appliance thoroughly after each use.
    Cleaning and Maintenance

  12. Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning.

  13. Remove all removable parts and wash them with warm soapy water.

  14. Use a brush or sponge to remove any food residue or debris from the grinding plates.

  15. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling the device.

  1. Please read these operating instructions carefully before connecting your device to the power supply, to avoid damage due to incorrect use.
  2. Before the first switching on check that the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your house.
  3. Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to malfunction of the appliance and injuries to the user.
  4. The appliance is intended for use only in domestic aims. The unit is not intended for industrial and commercial use, and also for use in:
  5. kitchen area for the stuff of shops, offices and other industrial places
  6. farmhouses
  7. hotels, motels, rest homes, and other similar places by residents.
  8. Do not use it outdoors or in damp areas.
  9. Do not disassemble the appliance when it is plugged to the power supply. Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning and when not in use.
  10. To prevent risk of electric shock and fire, do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids. If it has happened, unplug it immediately and check in the service center.
  11. The appliance is not intended for use for physically, sensory or mentally disabled persons (including children) or for persons with lack of life experience or knowledge if only they are under supervision or have been instructed about the use of the unit by a responsible person.
  12. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
  13. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
  14. Children must be under control in order not to be allowed to play with the appliance.
  15. Do not leave the appliance switched on when not in use.
  16. Do not use other attachments than those supplied.
  17. In case of power cord is damaged, its replacement should be done by the manufacture or service department or another high-skill person to avoid any danger.
  18. Do not attempt to repair, adjust or replace parts in the appliance. Check and repair the malfunctioning appliance in the nearest service center only.
  19. Keep the cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.
  20. Do not pull, twist, or wrap the power cord around the appliance.
  21. Do not place the appliance near gas or electric oven or store at heated surface.
  22. Avoid contact with moving parts.
  23. The blades are very sharp, so handle them with care.
  24. Do not push products into the appliance with your fingers while it is in operation. If food becomes lodged in the feeder tube, use the pusher to push it down. If this doesn’t work, turn the motor off, unplug the unit, and then disassemble the appliance to remove the remaining food.
  25. When carrying the unit be sure to hold the motor housing with both hands. Do not carry the unit by the hopper plate or head.
  26. Do not fix the cutting blade and cutting plate when using a kibbe attachment.
  27. Do not grind hard food such as bones, nuts, ginger, or other products with hard fiber.
  28. When the circuit breaker activates, do not switch on.
  29. Do not run the meat grinder continuously for longer than 5 minutes. Turn the unit off and let it rest for at least 20 minutes to cool down the motor, otherwise the motor may be damaged.
  30. Be sure to turn the appliance off after each use. Make sure the motor stops completely before disassembling.
  31. Do not overload the appliance with products.
  32. If the product has been exposed to temperatures below 0ºC for some time it should be kept at room temperature for at least 2 hours before turning it on.

BEGINNING

  • Wash all parts (except the body) in warm soapy water.
  • Before plugging in, ensure the appliance is switched off.

OPERATION OF THE DEVICE

ASSEMBLING

  • Place the neck tightly onto the neck inlet.

  • Place the snake into the neck, long end first, and turn to feed the screw slightly until it is set into the motor housing.timberk-T-MG45M01-Meat-Grinder-FIG-5
  • Place the cutting blade onto the snake shaft with the blade facing the front as illustrated. Place the desired cutting plate next to the cutting blade, fitting protrusions in the slots. If it is not fitted properly, the meat will not be ground.timberk-T-MG45M01-Meat-Grinder-FIG-12
  • Screw the fixing ring tightly. Do not over tighten.
  • Place the food tray on the neck and fix it into position.
  • Locate the unit on a firm surface.
  • The air passage at the bottom and the side of the motor housing should be kept free and not blocked.

PROCESSING MEAT

  • Cut the meat into pieces so that they easily fit the neck.
  • Plug the meat grinder in and set the switch to the ON position.
  • Place the meat on the tray and feed it into the meat grinder little by little with the pusher.
  • After finishing work switch off the meat grinder and unplug it from outlet.

MAKING KUBBE

  • Kubbe is a traditional Middle Eastern dish. It is usually prepared of lamb and bulgur minced together to smooth paste. Paste is formed to hollow tubes, stuffed with mixture of meat and spices and then deep-fried.
  • Feed the prepared minced meat through the kubbe maker.
  • Cut the resulting tube into cylinders of desired length.
  • Stuff the cylinders with filling and seal the ends.

MAKING HOMEMADE SAUSAGES

  • Put the sausage skin in warm water for 10 minutes. Then slide the wet skin onto the sausage horn.
  • Put the minced meat in the tray. To fill the skin push the meat into the cutter housing.

GRATING AND CHOPPING NOZZLES

  • These attachments are used for chopping vegetables and fruits.
  • Insert the neck for grating and chopping into the socket located on the body. Fasten it by turning counter-clockwise.
  • Fit any of the grating or chopping attachments into the neck drum.
  • Insert the vegetables into the neck and push them using the pusher for grating and chopping.timberk-T-MG45M01-Meat-Grinder-FIG-10

REVERSE MODE

  • If the meat grinder is jammed, switch it off and without unplugging it from the outlet set the switch to the REV position.
  • The feed screw will start rotating in the opposite direction and push out jammed food.
  • If this does not help, unplug the meat grinder from the outlet, disassemble and clean it.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

DISASSEMBLING

  • Switch off the appliance and make sure that the motor has stopped completely.
  • Unplug the appliance.
  • Disassemble by reversing the assembling steps.
  • When disconnecting the loading neck of the meat grinder, press the latch and turn it.
  • Special protrusions are provided on the fixing ring to facilitate disassembly.

CLEANING

  • Remove meat, etc.
  • Wash each part in warm soapy water.
  • Do not use abrasives, chlorine-containing substances or organic solvents.
  • Do not immerse the motor housing in water, but only wipe it with a damp cloth.
  • The metal parts of the mincing machine are not to be washed in the dishwasher!
  • Do not wash all metal parts with hot water at which temperature above 50℃. Because it will fasten metal parts oxidation.
  • After washing please use dry dishcloth clean the metal parts.
  • If the meat grinder won’t be use for a long time, please wipe all the metal parts by vegetable oil-wet dishcloth.timberk-T-MG45M01-Meat-Grinder-FIG-11

STORAGE

  • Switch off and unplug the appliance; let it entirely cool.
  • Complete all requirements of Chapter CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
  • Reel on the power cord.
  • Keep the appliance in a dry cool place.

UTILIZATION RULES

  • The symbol on the unit, packing materials and/or documentations means used electrical and electronic units should not be toss in the garbage with ordinary household garbage. These units should be pass to special receiving point.
  • For additional information about actual system of the garbage collection address to the local authority.
  • Valid utilization will help to save valuable resources and avoid negative work on the public health and environment which happens with incorrect using garbage.

The warranty card is an integral part of the documentation supplied with this unit. If there is no warranty card in the delivery set, ask for it from the Seller. The warranty card provided by the Seller must conform to the manufacturer’s form.
  • The manufacturer and the authorized organization of the manufacturer remove responsibility for any possible harm which can be caused to people, animals or property directly or indirectly, if this harm occurred as a result of noncompliance with the rules and operating conditions, installation of the device, intentional or reckless actions of the user- and / or third parties, as well as in situations caused by natural and / or anthropogenic accidents.
