Universal inline dimmer

Please read these user instructions in full before use and store them safely for future reference.
Text and images errors are excepted and we reserve the right to modify technical data.
Safety: Electrical components should be installed in existing electrical systems by persons  with thenecessary knowledge according to the applicable regulations. New installations L’ may only be carried out by a qualified electrical  engineer.
Description: The inline dimmer is a universal dimmer for dimmable LED lights (3-75 W) and incandescent/halogen lights (10-150 W). ATTENTION, not compatible with dimmable CFL lights.
Installation: Warning! Unplug before installation!

  1. Turn the dimmer over and remove the screws (A).

  2. Remove the bottom of the housing (B) and put the two grey adjusting screws (C) to one side.

  3. Remove the screws (D) from the cable glands (E) and remove the cable glands (E).

  4. Remove and turn over the circuit board (F).

  5. Strip the insulation from the wires on the incoming mains cable and on the cable that will be leading to the luminaire.

  6. Connect the incoming mains cable to “IN” on the terminal blocks (G) on the circuit board (F).
    Connect the outgoing cable (leading to the luminaire) to “OUT” on the terminal blocks (HJ on the circuit board (F).
    Make sure that the incoming mains cable is connected lo the “IN” position on the circuit board, and the outgoing cable (leading to the luminaire) is connected to the “OUT” position on the circuit board!

  7. Place the circuit board (F) in the housing (I) and make sure that the indicator lamp (J) falls into the correct position (K).

  8. Apply the cable glands (E) and fix in place with the screws (DJ.
    Make sure that the exterior insulation of the cables is underneath the cable gland!

  9. Attach the grey adjusting screws (C) to the circuit board (F), making sure that the flat parts are touching.

  10. Place the bottom of the housing (BJ on top of the adjusting screws (C).
    NB! Make sure that the bottom of the housing (B) is lacing the right way! Match the text on the bottom of the housing (BJ to the corresponding text on the circuit board (F).

  11. Tighten the screws (A).

Use: Up/down press the button (L) briefly (less than one second).
Min/max hold down the button to change dimming from lighter to darker and vice versa when next pressed.
The inline dimmer has a memory that stores the most recent setting. The memory is not erased by unplugging the switch.
NB! When the slide is set to Min, the output is still live.
Green light: connection and load are OK.
Red light: short circuit. Turn off the dimmer using the button (L) and remove the plug from the socket. Take the dimmer apart and check that the cables have been installed according to the instructions.
Then plug it back in and turn on the dimmer using the button.
A green light indicates that everything is OK.
Yellow light: The dimmer is overloaded. Turn off the dimmer with the button (L) and remove the plug from the socket. Check that the wattage of the light fixture is not above the permitted value, see specification. Then plug it back in and  turn on the dimmer using the button. A green light indicates that everything is OK.
Care and maintenance: Unplug before cleaning. Dry with a soft, damp cloth. Use a delicate cleaning agent. Never use solvents or aggressive, abrasive cleaning agents.
Disposal: This symbol means that this product cannot be )I” disposed of with ordinary household waste. This applies _ everywhere within the EU. In order to prevent potential harm to health and the environment caused by incorrect disposal, the product should be taken to a recycling centre so that the material can be disposed of responsibly. When taking the product for recycling, please use the recycling system where you live or contact the place where you  purchased the item. They can make sure that the product is disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
