Model description
2013 marked the final year of the production run for the sixth-generation (C6)
Chevrolet Corvette. Not content to let the Corvette soldier on unchanged, GM
introduced a Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition – a ragtop ‘Vette with
the Z06’s massive 7.0-liter (427 cid) engine stuffed under the hood.
This year also marked the 60th anniversary of the Corvette, and commemorated
it with an available 60th Anniversary package for a number of trim levels of
the Corvette, including 4LT, 3LZ, and 3ZR. This special package included a
white paint job with silver racing stripes, ZR1 rear spoiler, gray-painted
brake calipers and, of course, special badging.
