foods or bread spread with butter, jam, glaze, or any other condiments in the toaster, as this may cause fire or smoke. – Ensure there is enough space above the appliance and on both sides to provide proper air circulation. – Do not cover the toaster with aluminium foil or similar materials.

BEFORE USE

– This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
– Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

OPERATION

1. Plug in the appliance. 2. Turn the knob clockwise to adjust the toasting level from 1 (less toasted) until 7 (more
toasted). Each mode is preset with a specific countdown to toast the bread for more or less time.
NOTE: if in doubt, select the lowest position (the white mark on the knob indicates the selected position).

3. Introduce the sliced bread or slices of bread into the toaster slot and push the lever down until it locks.
4. Bread will start toasting and once the selected toasting level has been reached, the appliance will switch off and the toast will come out automatically.
WARNING: the device has a thermally insulated housing. However, since the metal parts become hot during operation, let the appliance cool down before storing it.
5. The toaster can only toast 4 slices of bread at the same time. 6. The reheat mode can only be set to the minimum toasting level.
NOTE: the toaster has a tray at the bottom to collect the crumbs that are generated over time. To remove the tray, simply pull it out, clean the breadcrumbs and push it back into the slot.
Reheat function This function activates the toaster for a short period of time to reheat bread without toasting it.
Cancel function This function cancels the toasting process at any time, if desired.
Defrost function This function is used to defrost slices of bread. It has a preset amount of time to cook the toast.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
– Before cleaning the toaster, unplug it from the socket and allow it to cool down sufficiently. – Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the outside of the appliance. – Do not use abrasive detergents or scouring pads. – Take out the crumb tray, remove any bread residues and put it back into the toaster. Repeat
the process regularly. – After making sure that the toaster is disconnected from the mains, remove any leftover
bread inside the toaster. Most of the crumbs will have fallen into the tray, but it is possible that some small pieces may have got caught in the grid; try to remove them. – Store the toaster in a clean, dry place when not in use. Make sure the product is clean and dry. – It is recommended to store the product in its original box to protect it from dust if it is not going to be used for a long period of time. – This appliance complies with the relevant safety measures and has been designed in accordance with the latest technical safety standards.
