Product Usage Instructions

Installation of the Frame
To install the frame, follow these steps:

  1. Refer to the User and Installation Guide for safety instructions and additional information.
  2. Insert the two crossbars into the front tubes of the AddBike+.
  3. Attach the frame to the AddBike+ using two screws (BHC M5x30).
  4. Tighten the screws securely.

Insertion of the Textile
To insert the textile, follow these steps:

  1. Insert the lower elastic straps into the front tubes.
  2. Insert the upper tubes into the backrest and front tubes.
  3. Replace the backrest screws that were previously removed.
  4. Tighten the fabric on both sides, centering it on the backrest as much as possible.
  5. Make sure no cables from the AddBike+ are caught in the strap clamps.

Installation of the frame

  • Remove the 4 screws situated on each corner of the frame (2 on the backrest and 2 on the seat)

  • Install the compact slat (A) with 4 screws BHC M5×20 at the bottom of the two tubes (as shown on the right). Then secure the crossbar (B) with 2 screws RHC M5x30.1

  • Insert the assembly just built into the seat by fastening the 2 previously removed screws.

Insertion of the textile

  • Install the textile by inserting the two lower elastic straps into the front tubes.
  • Insert the 2 upper tubes throughout the elastic straps following the direction shown by the arrow on the right
  • Secure the upper tubes by inserting them in the side strap (as shown on the left)
  • Insert the upper tubes into the backrest and the front tubes and then replace the backrest screws previously removed
  • At the back of the frame, attach starting from strap no.1 (image on the left) to no. 2 to no. 3

WARNING: Tighten the fabric on both sides, centering the fabric on the backrest as much as possible. Verify that no cables from the AddBike+ are caught in the strap clamps.

  • Attach the hammock to the back of the module with the 4 carabiners

  • During the next two steps, remember to pass the hammock straps through the 2 cross tubes before fixing them with the M5x30 screws

  • Insert the transverse bar with the reflective sock on the top of the high tubes. Remember to pass the high straps of the hammock before fixing

  • To secure the front textile insert the straps of the hammock on each side.
    Proceed by positioning and screwing in the transverse bar as shown in the bottom image. The two screws required are BHC M5x30.AddBike-210831-Carry-

  • Fabric attachment and finishing

  • Assemble the front textile with the envelope using velcro. Then tighten the strap by passing it in the slots of the seat of the AddBike+AddBike-210831-Carry-Box-Kid-FIG-16

  • Use the buckles on the shoulder and waist straps to adjust the height of the hammock to best fit your child. You can also choose to pass the shoulder straps through the sewed tape to adjust the anchored point. The central buckle can be opened by simply pressing it.

  • Then assemble the cover by attaching it to the module using the Velcro fasteners

  • To store the cover, roll it up and secure it with the 2 elastic bands on the front of the module.

  • You will find, in the inside pocket of the front textile. the sunshade accessory. To set it up, attach the fabric to the same hooks as the cover.

  • If you want to use the Carry’Box Kid without its cover, you can roll it up and place it on the front of the module using elastic bands. To store the sun net, you can use the inside pocket of the front textile.
