Product Information
The FA-5114 Food Chopper is a kitchen appliance designed for chopping food ingredients quickly and easily. The chopper comes with a motor unit, a bowl, a lid, and a blade assembly consisting of a main and secondary blade. The chopper is operated by placing the bowl on a stable surface, assembling the blade, filling the ingredients into the bowl, closing the lid, and pressing the trigger button to start chopping. The chopper is equipped with a safety switch in the base of the motor unit that prevents the unit from operating when it is not placed correctly on the lid. Thechopper can be easily cleaned and maintained by following the instructions provided in the user manual.
Product Usage Instructions
- Remove any packaging material and clean the bowl and lid before first use according to the chapter CLEANING & MAINTENANCE in the user manual.
- Place the bowl on a dry, flat, and stable surface.
- Assemble the main blade and secondary blade. Lock them both together by turning them clockwise.
- Place the blade assembly on the shaft at the bottom of the bowl.
- Fill the ingredients into the bowl. Cut large ingredients into max. 2 x 2 cm pieces. For best results, use no more than half of the available space in the bowl.
- Close the lid properly. Turn it clockwise to snap it in place.
- Align and place the motor unit on the center of the lid. Ensure that it is placed correctly on the lid to activate the safety switch in the base of the motor unit.
- Connect the power cord to a power outlet.
- Press the trigger button to start chopping.
- After use, turn off the chopper and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Clean the bowl, lid, and blade assembly according to the chapter CLEANING & MAINTENANCE in the user manual.
- Dispose of non-working electrical equipment at an appropriate waste disposal center to protect the environment.

The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove any packaging material and clean the bowl and lid according to the chapter “CLEANING & MAINTENANCE”.
OPERATION
- Place the bowl on a dry, flat and stable surface.
- Assemble the main blade and secondary blade. Lock them both together by turning them clockwise.
- Place the blade assembly on the shaft at the bottom of the bowl.
- Fill the ingredients into the bowl. We recommend to cut large ingredients in max. 2 x 2 cm pieces. For best results, use no more than half of the available space in the bowl.
- Close the lid properly. Turn it clockwise to snap it in place.
- Align and place the motor unit on the center of the lid. There is a safety switch in the base of the motor unit that prevents the unit from operating when it is not placed correctly on the lid.
- Connect the power cord to a power outlet.
- Press the trigger button to start chopping.
- For best results, operate the chopper in short pulses.
- Do not run the motor for more than 20 seconds at a time. After 20 seconds of continuous operation, allow the motor to cool down to room temperature.
- It may be necessary to stop the machine and scrape the food off the bowl wall to chop everything evenly.
- After use, unplug the appliance and clean the parts.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug the appliance from power before cleaning.
- Never immerse the motor unit or power cord in water.
- Do not let the electrical parts come into contact with moisture.
- Wash the bowl, lid and blades with a combination of mild detergent and warm water, then wipe it dry. Be careful when handling the blades.
- Wipe the motor unit with a soft damp cloth
Note : Some foods may discolor the plastic parts, but this will not harm the plastic or affect the taste of your food.
