UNITED HEADSETS Max 75 Wireless Headset

  1. Volume down: Press to decrease the volume (short press) or hold for continuous volume decrease (long press).
  2. Volume up: Press to increase the volume (short press) or hold for continuous volume increase (long press).
  3. LED status indicator: Shows the battery level with 4 bars. When the power is turned on, the indicator lights turn blue in sequence (fully charged). During a call, indicators 2 and 3 are solid blue. When the battery power is lower than 20%, indicator 1 is solid red. When the microphone is muted, indicators 2 and 3 are solid red.
  4. Mute/unmute microphone: Press to mute or unmute the microphone during a call.
  5. Call answer/end (Microsoft Teams call answer/end): Press to answer or end a call (specifically for Microsoft Teams).
  6. USB-C charging: Connect the included USB-C charging cable for a full charge that takes about 3 hours.
  7. On/Off/Bluetooth pairing: Switch to turn the headset on or off. Also used for Bluetooth pairing.

Recommended way of wearing
Put the headset on your head with the left and right sides properly aligned.
Adjusting the headset

  1. According to your usage habits, adjust the headset for a comfortable fit on your head.
  2. When using the microphone, adjust the microphone boom so that it is approximately two fingers away from your mouth.

Flattened storage
The earcups of the headset can be rotated and flattened for easy storage.

How to charge the headset
Charge with USB charging cable

  1. Plug the charging cable into the headset.
  2. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a USB port on your computer for charging.
  3. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge the headset. The battery lasts approximately 24 hours when fully charged.

Use a compatible power adapter
You can also charge the headset using a compatible 5V output charger. It is recommended to use the included charging cable for charging.
Use as a USB headset

  1. Plug the charging cable into the headset.
  2. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a USB port on your computer.
  3. The headset will automatically switch from wireless mode to wired mode. Now the United Headsets Max 75 can be used as a USB headset.

Re-pairing the headset and dongle

  1. If you need to repair the UH Max 75 and UH BTD75, press and hold the reset button on the UH BTD75 USB dongle.
  2. Press and hold the reset button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately.
  3. Turn the headset switch to the Bluetooth position and keep it in this position until the blue LED indicators 1 and 4 of the headset flash alternately.

The meaning of the LED indicator

Connection method

Connect via dongle

To listen to music with the headset, you may need to set the UH BTD75 as the playback device in the audio settings of your PC/laptop’s operating system.

  1. If you need to repair the UH Max 75 and UH BTD75, please press and hold the reset button on the UH BTD75 USB dongle.
  2. Press and hold the reset button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately.
  3. Turn the headset switch to the Bluetooth position and keep it in this position until the blue LED indicators 1 and 4 of the headset flash alternately. (Please refer to 5.2)
  4. Wait for the UH Max 75 and UH BTD75 to pair again. After the pairing is completed, the LED indicator stops flashing.

Direct connection via Bluetooth

  1. Slide the on/off switch to the Bluetooth position and hold it there until the 1 and 4 indicators flash blue alternately.

  2. Go to the smartphone Bluetooth menu and select UH Max 75 from the list of available devices.

How to use the headset

Power on/off
Slide the on/off switch to the ON or OFF position to turn the headset on or off.

Calls and music

  1. 1To answer the call, press the Call/Answer button

  2. Hang up the phone and press the Call/Answer button

  3. To reject the call, press the Call/Answer button twice

  4. When playing music, press the Call/Answer button to play/pause

  5. When you are not on a call, press and hold the Call/Answer button to activate the voice assistant (need to be used when not on a call)

  6. When listening to music or on a call, press the volume down or volume up button, or keep pressing the volume button to adjust the volume.

Voice prompt

  1. The voice prompt is to guide you to set or prompt the various states of the headset (such as power on and off, volume adjustment, and battery lighting state)
  2. Voice prompts are enabled by default

System Support

  1. Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10 support Skype for Business to answer and hang up; support MS Teams to answer and hang up; support USB drive-free.
  2. Mac supports Skype for Business to answer and hang up; supports MS Teams to answer and hang up; supports MS Teams button function; supports USB drive-free.
  3. Android supports phone answering and hanging up, music playback, and other functions.
  4. iOS supports phone answering and hanging up, music playback, and other functions.

Multipoint Connection

  1. The headset can be paired with up to 8 different Bluetooth devices, but can only be connected with two Bluetooth devices at a time (such as UH BTD75 and a smartphone, or between two smartphones).
  2. To pair two smartphones, use the normal pairing process for each smartphone separately (refer to section 5.2).
  3. The USB-A connector can be connected to the USB port of the laptop/PC and the USB-C connector to the headset, to charge the lithium battery. At the same time, it can be used as a USB headset.
  4. Note : The voice assistant will be activated on the last connected mobile phone.

How to reset

  1. Resetting the headset will clear the list of paired devices. (Please refer to 5.2)

How to maintain the headset

  1. When using a Bluetooth headset, please strictly observe the following precautions to prevent fire, electric shock, and other injuries:

  5. Do not use the Bluetooth headset in a place where gas leaks.
  6. The USB-C power cable should only be used as specified in the manual to connect to the Bluetooth headset.
  7. Non-professionals should not disassemble the headset by themselves.
