Using the Handset

To activate the Push-To-Talk (PTT) function:

Registering Handset to the Base Station

Switch on the handset. It will automatically register within 1 minute. If it doesn’t register, proceed to the next step.
Go to Menu > Connection > Login > enter access code 0000 and press the OK button.
Turn the handset off and on once.
Activate the PTT function as per the Push-To-Talk switch instructions.
If the handset still doesn’t register within 1 minute, please contact Lumidee.

- A: To activate the PTT function, press and hold the mute button for 3 seconds.
Q: How do I hang up a call?
- A: Press the red hang up button for 5 seconds to hang up a call.

Speaking in the Push-To-Talk (PTT) group:
- Press and hold the mute button for 3 seconds to activate PTT. When PTT is activated you can speak by pressing the mute button or selection key in to push. As soon as you release the button the speech connection is closed.
Listening in via speaker:
- When PTT is activated, all communication goes over the speaker of the handset. Do you want PTT temporarily turned off, follow the steps below.
Disable Push-To-Talk:
- Go to Menu > Settings > Intercom > OFF. Or click on “more” once PTT is active, then click “Leave”. You will not receive incoming messages anymore and you can no longer speak in the group.
Enable Push-To-Talk:
- Go to Menu > Settings > Intercom > ON. You will receive messages and can speak in the group again.
Increase volume: Press the volume + button.
Decrease volume: Press the volume – button.
Switch on the handset:
- Press the red hang up button 1x.
To switch off the handset:
- Press the red hang up button for 5 seconds.

Switch on the handset. The handset registers automatically within 1 minute. If this if not the case, go to next step.
Go to Menu > Connection > Login > enter access code “0000” and press the “OK” button. Then put the handset on and off once. Don’t forget to activate the PTT function. See instructions “Push To-Talk switch”.
If the handset does not register within 1 minute please contact Lumidee.
