Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Preparing the Mitre Saw Stand
- Ensure that the mitre saw stand is securely set up on a flat and stable surface.
- Make sure all the necessary components of the stand are properly assembled.
Step 2: Fitting the Mitre Saw to the Stand
- Locate the bracket on the underside of the mitre saw base.
- Insert the coach bolt through the bracket and the base of the machine from underneath.
- Place the large flat washer onto the bolt, followed by the spring washer.
- Tighten the hex nut onto the bolt to secure the mitre saw to the stand.
- Repeat this process for all the bolts provided, ensuring that the machine is correctly aligned.
Step 3: Adjusting and Securing the Mitre Saw
- Once all the bolts are fitted, check that the mitre saw is properly aligned with the stand.
- If necessary, adjust the position of the mitre saw by loosening the bolts slightly and repositioning it.
- Once the desired alignment is achieved, tighten all the bolts securely to ensure stability during operation.
Installation Instructions
FITTING R210SMS / R255SMS TO MITRE SAW STAND
- Fit your Saw Mounting Brackets to the stand but do not lock down.
- Mount your mitre saw on to the brackets, adjust brackets to line up with the fixing holes on the base of your machine. (Fig 1a) Also, locate it more to the rear of the brackets. (Fig 1b)
- Using the M6 x 40 coach bolts, large washer, spring washer and Hex Nut.
NOTE: Do not remove the rubber feet or use the wing nuts.
Insert the coach bolt from the underside (Fig. 2a) of the bracket and through the base (Fig. 2b) of the machine. Then put the large flat washer on to the bolt followed with the spring washer and the hex nut (Fig. 2c). Leave these loose until all bolts are fitted and the machine is correctly aligned.
- Lock down the mounting brackets, slide the machine to the rear of the bracket (Fig. 2d), then fully tighten the nuts.
