Installation
To set up the JTECH-4K60-UNT JTECH-4K60-UNR HDMI Extender, follow these steps:
- Connect the transmitter unit (TX) to the HDMI source device using an HDMI cable.
- Connect the receiver unit (RX) to the display device using an HDMI cable.
- Connect a UTP Cat5e/6 cable between the TX and RX units.
- Ensure both the TX and RX units are connected to a power source using the provided power adapters.
- If cascading is desired, connect additional RX units to the UTP Cat5e/6 cables and power them on.
Configuration

IR Control
The JTECH-4K60-UNT JTECH-4K60-UNR HDMI Extender supports IR passback function, allowing you to control the media playback of the source device at the display location.
To use the IR control feature, ensure that the IR cables are connected between the TX and RX units. Point the IR remote control towards the RX unit to control the source device.
Ethernet Switch
If you wish to cascade multiple layers of JTECH-4K60-UNT JTECH-4K60-UNR HDMI Extenders, you can add Ethernet switches to expand the network. Simply connect the TX and RX units to the Ethernet switches using UTP Cat5e/6 cables.
