Hand/wrist stabilization set

The Hand / wrist stabilization set is designed to be used on the Philips seated stepper pivoting handgrips. The Hand / wrist stabilization set allows users with limited or no hand strength to enjoy the benefits of the seated stepper.  Patients with hand and wrist deficiencies will find  comfort and security in maintaining a stable hand position throughout the exercise session.
This newly designed Hand / wrist stabilization set offers:

  • Stable and correct hand position throughout the workout
  • Support for the wrist while minimizing wrist fiexion
  • Reduction in pressure points
  • A full and natural range of motion for the upper body movement
  • The ability to keep hands in place during exercise
  • The set allows easy attachment and removal on the pivoting handgrips.

Instructions for use

Slip the stabilizer onto the hand like a glove and attach to the handgrip with the Velcro straps

Secure the stabilizer by wrapping the strap around the handgrip and wrist.

Caring for the Hand / wrist stabilization set

By hand:

  • In a sink or bucket add cool water and a teaspoon (4.9 ml) of laundry detergent.

  • Soak and wash well.

  • Rinse with clean water and hang them to dry.
    In a washing machine:

  • Place the stabilizers in a mesh laundry bag.

  • Wash them with a small load of laundry or other sports gear.

  • Add a small amount of mild laundry detergent to the washing machine.

  • Select the “cold water” and “gentle” settings and press start.

  • Remove the stabilizers from the washer and hang them to dry, do not put in dryer.
