REMOTE ACCESS AWAY FROM HOME
- Call your phone number from a touch-tone phone
- During the outgoing message, press 0 and enter your PIN code. The answering system announces the number of messages stored in memory and the voice prompts.
- To quit, hang up the phone.
TURN ON THE ANSWERING SYSTEM REMOTELY
- Call your phone and let it ring 10 times until you hear a beep.
- Press 0 and then enter your PIN code.
- Press 0 and then 5 to stop the announcement.
- Press 0 then 6 to turn the answering system on.
SETTING PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (PIN)
- On the handset, press (Menu/Select). Select the ANSW. SETUP menu, and then the SECURITY CODE submenu.
- Use the number keypad ([0] through [9]) to enter a two-digit security code (01-99).
- Press [Menu/Select]. You will hear a confirmation tone.
