WARNING
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they will not play with the appliance.
- Extreme precaution should be exercised when using any type of domestic appliances, especially the followings:
- Read the instructions in conjunction with the illustrations before using for the fi rst time and only use the appliance as described in the operation instructions.
- Before you plug the appliance in, check if the voltage specifi ed on the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage in your home.
- Never plug in the appliance before it is completely installed.
- Never operate the appliance with a cracked or damaged blade.
- For your own safety and that of others: water and electricity are a dangerous combination! Do not use the appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
- Do not use the appliance if the electrical cable is damaged or whenever any possible internal failure or incorrect operation has been detected.
- The use of any electrical connections that are unauthorized or different from those supplied with the appliance could cause operational failure or short circuits.
- Do not hold the electrical cable in hands and make sure it is not caught between furniture or any other object.
- To prevent the possibility of short-circuit, do not place the appliance on window-sills.
- Make sure that the electrical cable and plug cannot come in contact with water or humidity. Do not spray the appliance with any liquid.
- Unplug the appliance by holding the plug; do not pull on the electrical cable.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is to be moved or not to be used for a long time.
- Exercise extreme care whenever the appliance is to be used by, or near, children.
- Keep the appliance away from reach of children. Do not allow children to play with it. In case this appliance gets into the hands of children, injury or damage to the appliance could be incurred.
- Do not use the appliance in explosive or infl ammable environments.
- Do not place the appliance near a naked fl ame, stove or heater.
- Always place the appliance on fl at, dry surface.
- Never immerse any part of the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use the appliance without the protective grilles.
- Do not attempt to force the grilles to turn or to stop.
- Never put objects into the grilles when the appliance is connected to the mains.
- It is not advisable to expose people (esp. babies or older people) to a continuous cold air stream for a long time.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- This appliance is for domestic use only and should not be used industrially.
- Always send the appliance to offi cial repair services for either mechanical or electrical repairs.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION
Assembly (fi g. 1)
- Loosen and remove the four screws from the base bars “R”.
- Cross the two base bars as shown in fig. 1 and align the four holes with those on the fl ange.
- Secure the fl ange to the base bars “R” with the four screws.
- Slide the base cap “S” down to cover the screws.
- Pull up the inner pipe “O” from the outer pipe “Q” and hold it tightly by tightening the height adjustment screw “P”.
- Mount the fan body “L” to inner pipe “O” and hold tightly by tightening the body set screw “N”:
- Unscrew (turn counter-clockwise) the rear guard lock nut “E” from the shaft end of the motor unit “J”.
- Mount the rear guard “F” onto the front of motor unit “J” by matching the positioning holes “G” on rear guard to the positioning round pins “I” on the front of motor unit.
- Push in fi rmly until the pins protrude through the holes.
- Secure the rear guard “F” to the motor unit “J” with the rear guard lock nut “E”.
- Insert the fan blade “D” onto the motor shaft “H”. Be sure that the pin in the shaft is matched with the slot on the fan blade.
- Press fi rmly until the fan blade stops. Secure the fan blade “D” with the fan blade cap “C”, turning counter-clockwise to tighten.
- Test the fan blade “D” operation by rotating it with your hand. There should be no friction with the rear guard lock nut “E”. If the blade does not rotate freely, disassemble and repeat the procedure.
- Attach the front guard “A” (with the guard ring) to the rear guard “F”.
- Join the front/rear guards by pressing fi rmly (“Click”).
- Secure the two guards by the fi xing screw “B”.
Operation
After checking the voltage, plug the appliance into the mains.
Select the operating speed by turning the speed selection knob “M” to “1” (low
speed), “2” (mid speed) or “3” (high speed) (fi g. 3).
To stop, set the speed selection knob “M” to “0”.
Oscillation
Press the oscillation knob “K” at the upper part of motor housing downward to
start oscillation during operation (fi g.2).
Pull the oscillation knob “K” upward to stop oscillation (fig.3)
Positioning
The direction of the air stream can be adjusted in vertical direction:
Move the motor unit “J” upward or downward to alter the vertical angle (fi
g.4). You will hear a clicking sound while positioning.
Height adjustment
Loosen the height adjustment screw “P” and adjust the fan to the desired
height by pulling upward or downward the inner pipe “O” (fi g.5). Be sure to
hold tightly the fan body while loosening the screw.
Tighten the height adjustment screw “P” after the adjustment.
Cleaning
Always remove the mains plug from the wall socket before cleaning.
Clean with a soft, dry or damp cloth, if required with a soapy detergent. Do
not use abrasives or solvents.
Before removing the protective grilles make sure the appliance is disconnected
from the power supply.

The declared noise emission level for this appliance is 52 dB(A), which
represents level A of the acoustic power relative to the reference acoustic
power of 1 pW.
