Assembly Instructions
Before starting the assembly, please note the following:
- All items highlighted in green will be re-used during the installation of the conversion kit.
- All items highlighted in red will not be used.
Front Assembly
- Remove and save for later use the following parts:
- Steering Knuckles, Bearings
- M3 BHCS from lower
- M3 BHCS from running boards & rear lower links
- Rear Cross Brace
- M3 FHCS from shock
- Steering Links
- Front Suspension
- Front Axle
- Links
- Rear Lower Suspension Links
- Begin front assembly:
- Driver Side Beam Assembly (Bag F)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 1
- Passenger Side Beam Assembly (Bag F)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 2
- Link Assembly (Bag D)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 3
- Steering Knuckle Assembly (Bag F)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 4
- Re-use stock kingpin screws
- Steering Link from step 3 under knuckle
- Re-use stock knuckle, bearings & hex
- Repeat this step for the opposite side
- Driver Side Steering Swingset & Shock Tower Assembly (Bag B, Bag C)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 5
- Tie Rod from step 3
- Passenger Side Steering Link & Knuckle from step 4
- Passenger Side Steering Swingset & Shock Tower Assembly (Bag C, Bag B)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 6
- Tie Rod connects driver & passenger side swingsets
- Driver Side Steering Link & Knuckle from step 4
- Drag Link from step 3
- Full Steering Set Assembly
- This is what your progress should look like.
- Install Driver Side Swingset & Shock Tower (Bag F)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 7
- Install Passenger Side Swingset & Shock Tower (Bag F)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 8
- Install Radius Arms Into Center Skid Plate
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 9
- Re-use stock lower link mounting screws
- Install Front Driver’s Side Shock(s)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 10
- Re-use stock shock mounting screws
- Important note: Driver side shock mounts behind beam arm
- Install Front Passenger Side Shock(s)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 11
- Re-use stock shock mounting screws
- Optional: Install a secondary bypass shock (no spring) for a super scale look!
- Secondary shock mount hardware not included
- Important note: Passenger side shock mounts in front of beam arm
- Connect Servo Link to Servo Horn (Bag F)
- Nice Job! Front Assembly Complete
- Rear Assembly
- Install Battery Tray (Bag C)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 13
- Re-use stock rear shock towers
- Trailing Arm Mount Assembly & Install to Rear Axle (Bag C)
- Hardware Used (Actual Size): 14
- Install Trailing Arm Mount to Chassis (Bag C)
- M3 Locknut (Bag C)
- Repeat this step for the opposite side
- I-Beam Conversion Kit Complete Add your tires, paint & trim a body, and you’re done and ready to rip! Make sure to check out Pro-Line’s recommended accessories to deck out your I-Beam .
