Installation
Before starting the installation process, please read and follow the safety warnings provided in the user manual.
- Disconnect power at the main fuse box before installation.
- Carefully pull the house wires out of the junction box to make them easily accessible during installation.
- Position the mounting bracket (A) with the threaded ends of the attached fixture mounting screws (E) facing down towards the floor.
- Pull the house wires through the center hole in the mounting bracket (A) and align the small holes in the mounting bracket with the holes in the junction box.
- Thread each junction box screw (B) into the appropriate hole in the mounting bracket (A) and into the hole in the junction box. Tighten the junction box screws (B) to secure the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. Make sure the house wires are pulled completely through the hole in the mounting bracket and avoid pinching them between the mounting bracket and ceiling.
- Strip 3/4 of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.
- Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire (copper) together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it.
- Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it.
- Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around the wire nuts (C) and wires to ensure they are securely fastened.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
