How to use

<1> Input, AC 100-240V~50/60Hz. the mini UPS is charged by a 100-240V AC cable (port ⑥), which is provided in the package, while charging, the mini UPS can be connected several load devices at the same time. however, DO NOT exceed it’s loading capacity (60W), otherwise, it may cause auto-self protection. (see <3> below) in the process of charging, the LED lights indicate the capacity of the battery by 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% increasingly. when disconnect the power, the mini UPS will start to use its internal battery automatically, and the LED lights will turn off one by one from 100%, 75%, 50% to 25%. then, when the light of 25% is flashing, it means that the battery power is very low. The mini UPS will shut down automatically when the internal battery runs out, and it will restart automatically when power recovers. <2> Output, when use this mini UPS, please DO check the voltage and current that required by the loading device before plug into the output ports, make sure that the voltage and current are suitable for your devices. This mini UPS offers 4 ports of DC output and 1 port for USB output as below: Port ①②: 5V USB, 5V DC, these two ports share 3A current in total. Port ③: 9V DC, this port provides 9V/3A DC output. Port ④⑤: 12V DC, these two ports share 5A current in total, that means, if connected 1 device, it can reach maximum 5A current, if connected 2 devices at the same time, please make sure the total current required does not exceed 5A. please be noted the compatiblity of current, the output interfaces of this mini UPS will detect the current required by the loading device and provide the appropriate current to the loading device automatically. for example, Port ③: 9V 3A DC, this port can support 9V voltage at any current below 3.0A. 9V / 0.5A, 1A, 1.5A, 2A, 2.5A, 3A are all supported by this port. <3> Overloading The maximum output power of this mini UPS is 60W. if the loading devices are more than 60W, it will active overloading self-protection. (see 5. if it’s happened) How to calculate the used power, (P=UI), power=voltage × current a 5V/3A USB output will take 5V × 3A = 15W. a 5V/3A DC output will take 5V × 3A = 15W. a 9V/3A DC output will take 9V × 3A = 27W. a 12V/2A DC output will take 12V × 2A = 24W. for example, users could use a 9V/2A DC output and 12V/2A DC output at the same time, because the total power consumption is 42W, less then the limit 60W. <4> If it is not used for long period, please keep it fully charged and keep it in a cool place. it is recommended to charge the battery once per month in case of emergency use.

Self-protection

If all LED lights are flashing suddenly and no more power supply, do not worry, normally it means self-protection. it may happen in the situations below:

<1> Bad weather, such as, thunderstorms <2> Incorrect operation, such as, connect to the wrong interface or device <3> Over-discharge and overcharge <4> The loading device short circuit or damage <5> Overloading, exceed the maximum loading capacity <6> Over-temperature please disconnect the mini UPS with the devices immediately, after a while, connect the original charging cable to re-active the mini UPS. **Important Warning:** <1>. Please make sure the voltage and current are applicable to the loading devices before connecting them to this mini UPS battery backup. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the loading devices and the mini UPS itself. <2>. Dropping, hitting, disassembling and repairing privately are forbidden. <3>. Please do NOT put the mini UPS into water or make it wet. <4>. Please do NOT dispose of the mini UPS in fire or heating it. <5>. Please do NOT use the mini UPS in any flammable enviroments, such as under the Sun or near a stove. <6>. Please do NOT use this mini UPS in the car. <7>. Please do NOT put the mini UPS in any places where children can reach.
