How to use
Input
the mini UPS can be charged by 100-240V AC through a AC cable, which is
provided in the package, while charging, the mini UPS can be connected loading
devices at the same time. however, do NOT exceed it’s loading capacity (30W),
otherwise, it may cause overloading auto self-protection. (see <3> below) in
the process of charging, the power indicator light indicates the capacity of
the battery by 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% increasingly. when disconnect the
power, the status light become red, it means the mini UPS is discharging with
the backup battery, and the power indicator light will turn off one by one
from 100%, 75%, 50% to 25%. then, when the light of 25% is flashing, it means
that the battery power is very low. The mini UPS will shut down automatically
when it is out of battery, it will restart when power recovers.
Output
when use this mini UPS, please DO check the voltage and current that required
by the loading device before plug into the outputs, make sure that the voltage
and current are suitable for the device.
This mini UPS offers 1 port USB, 1 port DC and 1 port POE output as below:
Port ⑨: 5V USB, 5V/2A USB output.
Port ⑫: 9V/12V DC, 9V/2A or 12V/2A DC output, please select the voltage
by the button ⑪ before plug into the device.
Port ⑭⑮: POE, this two ports provide 24V/0.6A POE or 48V/0.5A POE
connection. please select the voltage by the button ⑯ before plug into the
device.
Please be noted the compatibility of current, the output interfaces of this
mini UPS will detect the current required by the loading device and provide
the appropriate current to the loading device automatically.
for example, Port ⑨: 5V/2A USB, this port can support 5V voltage at any
current below 2A. 5V / 0.5A, 1A, 1.5A, 2A are all supported by this port.
Overloading
The maximum output power of this mini UPS is 30W. if the loading devices are
more than 30W, it will active overloading self-protection automatically. (see
5. if it’s happened)
How to calculate the used power, (P=UI), power=voltage × current
for e.g.,
a 5V/2A USB output will take 5V × 2A = 10W.
a 9V/2A DC output will take 9V × 2A = 18W.
a 12V/2A DC output will take 12V × 2A = 24W.
a 24V/0.6A POE output will take 24V × 0.6A = 14.4W.
a 48V/0.5A POE output will take 48V × 0.5A = 24W.
that means, users could use a 5V/2A USB output and 9V/2A DC output at the same
time, because the total power consumption is 28W, less then the limit 30W.
however, if the mini UPS has been connected with a 12V/2A required device,
users could NOT add anymore device to the mini UPS.
If it is not used for long period, please keep it fully charged and keep it in
a cool place. it is recommended to charge the battery once per month in case
of emergency use.
Auto self-protection
If all LED lights are flashing suddenly and no more power supply, do not
worry, normally it means self-protection. it may happen in the situations
below:
- Bad weather, such as, thunderstorms
- Incorrect operation, such as, connect to the wrong interface or device
- Over-discharge and overcharge
- The loading device short circuit or damage, ect.
- Overloading, exceed the maximum loading capacity.
- Over-temperature
please disconnect the mini UPS with the devices immediately, after a while, connect the original charger to re-active the mini UPS.
Important Warning
- Please make sure the voltage and current are applicable to the loading devices before connecting them to this mini UPS battery backup. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the loading devices and the mini UPS itself.
- Dropping, hitting, disassembling and repairing privately are forbidden.
- Please do NOT put the mini UPS into water or make it wet.
- Please do NOT dispose of the mini UPS in fire or heating it.
- Please do NOT use the mini UPS in any flammable environments, such as under the Sun or near a stove.
- Please do NOT use this mini UPS in the car.
- Please do NOT put the mini UPS in any places where children can reach.

Product Usage Instructions
Charging the Mini UPS
The mini UPS can be charged by connecting it to a 100-240V AC power source
using the provided AC cable. While charging, the mini UPS can also be
connected to loading devices. However, make sure not to exceed its loading
capacity of 30W to prevent overloading and auto self-protection.
Output Options
Before connecting any loading devices to the outputs, ensure that the
voltage and current requirements of the device are suitable.
- USB Output: Provides a 5V USB output with a current capacity of 2A.
- DC Output: Offers a 9V/2A or 12V/2A DC output. Use the output voltage selector button to choose the desired voltage before plugging in the device.
- POE Output: The two POE ports provide a choice between 24V/0.6A or 48V/0.5A POE connection. Select the desired voltage using the POE voltage selector button before plugging in the device.
Note: The mini UPS automatically detects the current required by the loading device and provides the appropriate current. For example, the 5V/2A USB port can support any current below 2A, such as 0.5A, 1A, 1.5A, or 2A.
Overloading Protection
The maximum output power of the mini UPS is 30W. If the total power
consumption of the connected loading devices exceeds 30W, the mini UPS will
activate overloading self-protection. For example, you can use a 5V/2A USB
output and a 9V/2A DC output simultaneously since the total power consumption
is 28W (below the limit of 30W). However, if the mini UPS is already connected
to a device requiring 12V/2A, you cannot add any more devices to the mini UPS.
Storage and Maintenance
If the mini UPS is not used for a long period, it is recommended to keep it
fully charged and store it in a cool place. To ensure emergency use, it is
advised to charge the battery once per month.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What should I do if all LED lights are flashing suddenly and there
is no power supply?
A: If all LED lights are flashing suddenly and there is no power
supply, it indicates self-protection mode. This may occur due to bad weather
conditions (e.g., thunderstorms), incorrect operation (e.g., connecting to the
wrong interface or device), over-discharge or overcharge of the battery, short
circuit or damage to the loading device, overloading, or over-temperature.
