• Step 1: Checking Mailbox Size
  • Before installing the mailbox post, check the size of your mailbox. For larger mailboxes, you may need to use the included mounting braces. Please ensure the size compatibility before proceeding with the installation.
• Step 2: Assembling the Mailbox Post
  • Identify the top post (Poste Superior) and the bottom post (Poste Inferior) from the package contents.
  • Attach the bottom post to the top post using the provided screws and hex nuts. Use a Phillips screwdriver and a wrench to tighten the screws and nuts securely.
  • Attach the mounting braces (Vilebrequins Soportes) to the assembled post using the remaining screws, nuts, and flat washers. Ensure that the braces are firmly attached to provide stability for the mailbox.
• Step 3: Installing the Mailbox Post
  • Choose a suitable location for installing the mailbox post. Ensure that it is in-ground and stable.
  • Dig a hole in the ground, following the recommended depth and width specified by your local regulations or personal preference.
  • Place the assembled mailbox post into the hole, ensuring it stands straight and upright.
  • Use a level to check the post’s alignment. Adjust as necessary to achieve a level position.
  • Backfill the hole with soil, firmly packing it around the post to provide stability.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

DO NOT install into the ground until both post pieces are securely connected as noted in Step 1.

1. Connect the two post sections. Ensure they are aligned properly and fully tightened.
2. For larger mailboxes, you may need to use included braces. Please check the size before installing.
   • Take 1 mounting brace and line up the holes with the plastic bracket Use the following:
   • 2 # 8-32 x 5/8” screws
   • 2 # 8 small washers
   • 2 small hex nuts to secure the brace
   • Repeat on the other side for the second brace.
3. Dig a hole 11” deep and 9” in diameter. Fill with one bag mixture of concrete (follow the manufacturer’s instructions for mixing). Install the assembled post into the ground. Pay particular attention to the location, height, and distance. Level and allow to cure following the manufacturer’s instructions before installing the mailbox.
