Explanation of the symbols

CE stands for Confirmit European, which means In accordance with EU Regulations. With the CE marking, the manufacturer confirms that this Electric tool complies with the applicable European directives. Do not dispose of electric power tools with domestic refuse.

Additional safety warnings for cordless mixers

  • Keep your hands away from rotating parts of the machine.
  • Avoid physical contact to grounded surfaces such as pipes, heating elements, electric cookers, refrigerators, etc.
  • Do not force the unit. You work better and safer within the stated power range. Use the right tool for the job.
  • When not using a stand to operate the electric mixer, make sure you have a firm foothold when operating the mixer and always hold the unit with both hands. Keep the electric mixer away from your body.
  • Make sure that the tool is inserted firmly and that no adjusting tools or keys are stuck in the unit before switching on the mixer.
  • Please wear convenient work clothes. Loose clothing, gloves or jewelry such as bangles or rings may be caught by the moving parts of the unit. Wear non-slip footwear. Tie up long hair.
  • To avoid injuries please wear safety goggles.
  • Store the unit out of the reach of children in a dry, high-located, or lockable place.
  • Do not use the unit when it does not work properly or it was damaged when falling down. Do not open the unit and do not try to repair it yourself. Please feel free to contact a professional or our customer service. Periodically check all nuts, bolts, and other fixings and tighten them where necessary.

Before first use
Remove the machine and the accessories from the packaging. Check the machine for transport damage and do not use the machine in case of damage. Keep the packing materials away from children, risk of suffocation!

Intended use
The mixer has been designed for private use only. It has not been designed for operation in the industry. With the supplied mixing paddle the electric mixer is suitable for mixing low-viscosity emulsions and viscous materials, for example, paints, lacquer, adhesives, mortar, etc.

Operation

  • Firmly hold the electric mixer with both hands.

  • Press the safety button (7) and the ON/OFF switch (8) with one hand. When the device is operating there is no need to hold down the safety switch.
    Note: If the on / off switch is pressed lightly, the mixer will run at the lowest speed. If the on / off switch is pressed firmly, the mixer will run at the highest speed.

  • To switch off the device, release the ON/OFF switch (8).

Gear selection
The mixer is equipped with an electronic speed regulator and with a 2-gear drive. Use the gear selection switch (4) to select one of the two available gear speeds. The mixer must have come to a complete standstill before the gears are changed.

Inserting the agitator

Always remove the battery before inserting or exchanging the agitator. The mixer is equipped with a M 14 collet.

  • Screw the quick coupler (2) onto the shaft (3) by turning counterclockwise.
  • Fix it by using the 2 supplied open-end spanners. Turn the spanners to each other so that the quick coupler is firmly fixed in the tool carrier. To remove the quick coupler, put the wrench back in and pull them away from each other.
  • Draw back the locking sleeve on the quick coupler to insert the agitator (1). Push forward the locking sleeve to lock the agitator in place.

Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING: Remove the battery before carrying out any maintenance/cleaning of the tool.

Cleaning

  • Use only a moist cloth to clean the unit. Do not use aggressive chemicals which may dissolve plastic parts, or abrasives. Always keep the ventilation slots clean and free from obstructions.
  • Keep safety devices, ventilation openings, and the motor housing as free as possible from dirt and dust. Rub the electric power tool with a clean cloth or blow over it with low-pressure com-pressed air.
  • We recommend that you clean your electric power tool immediately after each use.
  • Clean the electric power tool regularly with a damp cloth and somewhat soft soap.

There are no inner parts of the tool which need maintenance.

Disposal

Do not dispose of electric power tools with domestic refuse. The electric power tool is shipped in packaging to reduce transport damage. This packaging is a raw material and as such can either be reused or can be fed back into the raw material cycle. The electric power tool and its accessories are made from various materials such as metals and plastics. Take defective components to a special refuse collection point. Ask about these at your specialist shop or local council. The product and the user manual may be subject to changes. Technical data may be changed without prior notice.

Batteries
Think of the environment when disposing of batteries. Contact your local authorities to find out where your nearest disposal area is. Do not dispose of batteries with domestic refuse. Do not dispose of by burning, risk of explosion.
