WARNING

Please Read All Instructions Before Attempting Installation

  • Do not use these products outdoors unless marked suitable for outdoor use.
  • Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplace, candles, or other similar sources of heat.
  • Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails. Install only using the mounting means provided.
  • Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wires. Do not hang objects from the cord, wire, or light string. Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
  • Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation. Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material  not part of the product when in use.
  • Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with the product.
  • This product only works with low voltage light bulbs.
  • Do not deliberately reposition either lamp holder contact.

  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN! This remote contains a button cell battery which can result in severe injury, internal burns, hemorrhaging or death if ingested or placed in the body. In the event of ingestion or placement of the battery inside the body (ears, nose, mouth, etc.), seek immediate medical attention.

Upon receipt of the fixture, thoroughly inspect for any freight damage which should be brought to the attention of the delivery carrier.

Read all instructions before installation.

IMPORTANT: Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have occurred during shipping. If there is a defect in the wire, do not attempt installation.

Instructions:

  1. Carefully remove the product from the package and make sure that all the parts are included by referencing the package contents.

  2. Charge the solar panel for at least two full days by exposing the solar panel face to sunlight.

    NOTE:
    Batteries are pre installed into the solar panel. The string light does not need to be connected to charge.

  3. Make sure the bulbs are tightly installed into the string light socket by turning counterclockwise for proper contact and to prevent moisture from getting into the sockets.

    NOTE:
    LED bulbs provided with left handed thread base, Bulb will not screw into standard socket.

  4. Once the solar panel is charged, test the unit before hanging. Connect the string light cord to the extension cable and connect the extension cable to the solar panel. Press the power button to turn on. If any bulb does not light, tighten the bulb further.

  5. Solar panel has dusk to dawn sensor.
    Power On: Lights turn on at dusk. The lights tum off either after 6 hours or at dawn.
    Power Off: Lights will not operate.

Installing String Lights

  1. Attach using Solar Panel Mounting Screws.
    Attach the solar panel wall mount onto a structure using mounting screws. Screw the solar panel shaft into the solar panel wall mount. Adjust by turning the thumbscrew so that the solar panel points to the direction of sunlight. Gently tighten the thumbscrew.
    NOTE: We recommend installing the solar panel in an accessible location so that settings can be easily changed.

    NOTE: Select a location with sunlight. Lights may turn on during the day if the solar panelis installed in a shaded area.
    DO NOT STRETCH THE SOLAR PANEL CABLE TIGHTLY.

  2. Attach using Solar Panel Ground Stake.
    Insert the ground stake into the ground. Screw the solar panel shaft into the ground stake. Adjust by turning the thumbscrew so that the solar panel points to the direction of sunlight. Gently tighten the thumbscrew.
    NOTE: When installing product make the installation easier in hard or dry soil, water the soil several hours before to. You can also break up the ground lightly with a stake or a fork. Don’t force the stake into the ground as excess force can break or bend the stake.

RE-LAMPING STRING LIGHTS

WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Disconnect power at the source prior to re-lamping the string lights. For outdoor string lights, DO NOT re-lamp light strings during rain or when wet.

Re-lamp string lights only during dry and calm weather conditions.

Unscrew existing lamps by lightly holding the socket in one hand and twisting the lamp clockwise. Lamps may be tight in the sockets. This is normal to prevent moisture from getting into the socket. Screw bulbs into the sockets counterclockwise until the top of sockets form a tight seal around the bulbs and the bulbs contact the sockets.

MAINTENANCE

Periodically clean the string light, check connections and ensure no additional weight has been added. Use Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery Only 18650 3.7V minimum of 2000mAH for solar panel.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

When needed, replace battery with lithium-ion rechargeable 18650 2000mAh 3.7v 7.4Wh only.

Use another battery may present a risk of fire or explosion.

  • To replace batteries, remove compartment door on rear of solar panel.
  • Remove the four (4) screws using a screwdriver (not included). Install batteries correctly with regard to the polarity (+) and (-).
  • Replace and secure compartment door using four screws.

WARNING: Risk of fire and burns. Do not disassemble, heat above 100° C/212º For incinerate. Keep battery out of reach of children and in its original package until ready to use. Dispose of used batteries promptly according to local recycling or waste regulations.

DISPOSE OF USED BATTERY PROMPTLY. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. DO NOT DISASSEMBLE AND DO NOT DISPOSE OF IN FIRE.
Product Overview

Replacing Battery in the Remote Control

Push the compartment door to the right and pull out the battery compartment. Replace with new CR2025 3- Volt button battery in remote control. Risk of fire and burns. Do not recharge, disassemble, heat or incinerate battery. Keep battery out of reach of children.

Dispose of used batteries properly.

WARNING:
This product contains a button battery. If swallowed, it could not cause severe injury or death in just 2 hours. Seek medical attention immediately.

Problem Possible Causes Solution
The lights will not turn on. The batteries are not making contact. Loosen

the battery cover screws, pull out the battery cover and inspect the battery connection. After inspection, reinsert the battery cover back onto the panel.
The batteries are not fully charged.| Ensure the solar panel is positioned in a location that provides full and direct sunlight. If installed in a shady area, the battery will take a longer time to charge, may not fully charge, and reduce working hours.
The panel is near an external light source that is inadvertently triggering the dusk to dawn sensor.| Relocate the panel to an area that does not have any external light sources or remove the external light sources from the panel’s proximity.
The lights go out too early.| The battery charge is low.| Allow the batteries to get a full charge by powering off the panel for 1-2 days. Relocate the panel to an area with direct sunlight. Check panel for dirt, damage, or light obstruction.
