Product Usage Instructions
Connecting HDD
- Locate the connector on the cap.
- Be careful with the connector and locate the HDD’s pins. Watch the position when connecting the HDD.
- Connect the HDD to the SATA connector.
- Connect the DC adaptor to the case and connect the other side of the USB cable to the HDD case.
- Connect the other cable side of the USB cable to the wall outlet.
Partition and Format
To partition and format your HDD, follow these steps:
- Make sure the HDD is connected to the SATA connector and powered on.
- Open your operating system’s disk management tool (e.g., Disk Management on Windows).
- Select the HDD from the list of available disks.
- Create partitions as desired and format them using the desired file system (e.g., NTFS, exFAT).

CONNECTING HDD
- ENIYOU-865TC
- Locate the connector on the cap
- Be careful with the connector pins, watch the position when connecting the HDD
- Locate the HDD’s pins
- Connect the HDD in to the SATA connector
- Connect the DC adaptor into the case and case and connect the other cable side in the wall outlet
- Locate the USB port that you will use and connect the USB cable
- Connect the other side of the USB cable in the HDD case
- Slide the power button to ture it on
- NOTE: If your external HDD does not appear as a disk in “My PC” (when it is new), you will need to format it and create a new partition to use it.
- NOTE: If the HDD is not new, and you format it you will lose all the data files that were in the disk and you will not be able to recover them.
Partition and Format
- Right click on “My Computer” icon and select “Manager”. When this window appears, select “Disk Management”.
- Right click on the disk on “New Volume” and select “Initialize Disk
- Select the new disk to start with the configuration.
- When new disk appears, right click on it and select “New partition”.
- When the wizard window appears, click on [Next].
- Select “Primary Partition” and click on [Next]
- Select the partition size We reccomend to use as maximum and click on [Next].
- Select the drive letter to a sign the hard disk and click on [Next].
- Select the format settings: “FAT 32”, “DEFAULT” and Volume Label (Select the features that you need to format: “FAT32”, “Predetermi- ned”, the CD label that you need (example:”New Volume”) and “Perform a quick format”.
- New partition is complete and your hard disk is ready to be used. Click on [Finish].
