NOTICE Do not open the packaging on the front. Pull the flap on the back.
- Take a battery out of the packaging.
- Shut the flap to prevent the other batteries from falling out.
- Remove the protective film from the battery.
- Wait for 1 minute before inserting the battery into the device.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- Do not charge batteries. Attempting to charge a nonrechargeable (primary) battery may cause internal gas and/or heat generation resulting in venting, leakage, explosion and personal injury.
- Exhausted batteries should be removed from the hearing aid immediately and disposed of properly.
- Keep away from children. Seek immediate help if swallowed.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
- Do not heat, dismantle or deform batteries. When a battery is heated, dismantled or deformed, leakage and explosion may occur and cause personal injury.
- Remove the battery from the hearing aid if it is not to be used for an extended period of time unless it is for emergency purposes.
- If the battery leaks avoid contact with skin and eyes. Rinse affected areas immediately with plenty of clean water, then consult a doctor.
- Keep the button cell batteries away from children. Risk of ingestion and suffocation!
- It is of extreme importance that batteries are inserted correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –).
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.
- Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
Use
For best results let a
new battery sit untabbed for one minute before inserting into device.
Disposal
Do not dispose of used batteries with your household waste. Take them to an appropriate disposal/collection site. The symbol “Pb” indicates, that these batteries contain lead.
