• If you suspect that this device is damaged, discontinue the use of it; and do not touch any of its internal components to avoid a possible electric shock hazard.
• Do not try to insert any object into this device. Also, refrain from leaving this device unattended.
• Do not use this product around the eyes. Protective goggles, though capable of protecting you during normal operations.
• Be sure to wear protective goggles before using this product because the high-frequency flashing light might harm your eyesight even though such light will not be leveled at your eyes squarely.
• If your hair is longer than 1 mm in length, we recommend that you first shave off the hair with a razor. This is because overgrown hair will absorb heat on the surface of the skin and may result in redness or swelling.
• The hair, if burnt, may be scattered on the light outlet and lead to a peculiar smell which will discourage your use of this product.
• Wetness or dirtiness on the target skin area will impede hair removal and is likely to cause this product to give out light uncontrollably or cause its utter failure to give out light.
• Due to a lack of data regarding the use of this product on children aged below 15 years, it is advised to keep this product out of reach of children aged below 15 years.
• Similarly, please use this product at a place far from the reach of these children.
• Be sure to use the power adapter that comes with this device to avoid permanent product damage, bodily harm, and property loss.

• Do not use this product near any water-filled bathtub/basin, washbasin, or other similar utensils.
• Always keep this product out of the reach of children.
• Persons (including children) with reduced physical, perceptual, or mental capabilities or those who lack relevant experience and knowledge must use, clean, and maintain this product under the supervision and guidance of their guardians.
• Do not use this product around the eyes to prevent harm to them.
• Please clean off any dirt and substance clung onto the light outlet regularly to prevent this product from breaking down and prevent the light outlet from suffering any damage.
• Do not use this product while its air vent is blocked to prevent this product from breaking down or catching fire.
• Do not shed light on any clothes, hair, or other objects to prevent burning, coloration, or damage from taking place.
• Do not use this product on any pet to prevent any harm.
• Do not apply any antiperspirant immediately after shedding light into the armpits.
• Both this product and its power adapter shall be kept dry.
• Before and after using this device, please wipe off any hair or skincare product clung onto it to prevent this device from breaking down or causing any harm to the skin when being put to use again.
• Please choose an appropriate intensity of light in line with your skin conditions. When using this device for the first time, please start it up from Level 1.
• When removing any hair on the back, please be advised to have someone assist you since it might be risky for you to operate this product single-handedly.
• This device shall not be left unattended after it is turned on. Be sure to immediately turn off this device after using it.
• Clean the target skin area to ensure the surface is completely dry and further free from any hair leftovers or oily stains.
• Before moving this product from one place to another where the temperature is higher or lower by up to 20°C (e.g. from a low-temperature place to a high-temperature place, or vice versa), turn it off and leave it unused for 2 hours or so before starting it up again for re-use.
• Do not use this device near any flammable or explosive substance (inclusive of any sprayer and petrol station) to prevent bodily injuries caused by device-induced fire accidents or electric shock.
• Please check the room temperature before using this device, which should be used in a place with an ambient temperature of 5°C-40°C.
• Do not expose the target skin area to ultraviolet radiation directly within 48 hours after hair removal.
• Do not shed light on any black object to prevent damage to the black object and this device.
• Do not expose this product to any intensive sunlight or a functioning ultraviolet lamp for long hours which will do severe harm to it.
• Do not use this device if it has been turned on while its built-in fan fails to run (e.g. no fanning noise is heard), to prevent this device from breaking down.

Contraindications

• This device shall not be used on any woman in pregnancy, lactation, or menstrual period or any person suffering from scars on the body surface, diabetes, delicacy, or photosensitivity of skin.
• It is prohibited to use this device on any person suffering from severe heart disease, moderate or severe hypertension, malignant tumor, folliculitis, infectious skin disease, skin burn, or blood clotting disorder.
• This device shall not be used on any person suffering from disorders of collagen metabolism, including any old scar or poor healing of an old wound.
• This device shall not be used on any person suffering from a blood vessel disease (e.g. varicose veins or vascular ectasia that happen in the target skin area.
• This device shall not be used on any person suffering from photosensitivity and being susceptible to skin rashes or allergies.
• This device shall not be used on any target skin area plagued by infections, herpes simplex, pathological changes, hematoma, etc.
• This device shall not be used on any person suffering from immunosuppressive response conditions, including HIV infection, lupus erythematosus, and porphyria.
• It is prohibited to use this device on any person suffering from hemorrhage disease or using external application drugs, inclusive of 13-cis-retinoic acid, alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), beta-hydroxy acid (BHA), or azelaic acid.
• Use this device with caution on any person who has adopted a chemical depilatory to remove hair in the previous 30 days, or applied any skin whitening product or any cosmetic containing vitamin-A in a week before his or her intended use of this device.
• This device cannot be used together with any essential oil product. Please also be sure to make the target skin area clean, dry, and further free from any emulsion, lubricant, or other cosmetics.
• It is prohibited to use this device on any person who has taken such drugs as aspirin, immunosuppressant, or 13-cis-retinoic acid. It is prohibited to use this device on any person who has taken drugs that may induce photosensitivity (e.g. tetracycline and sulfanilamide) recently.
• A person suffering from light-induced injuries (sunburn) shall not use this device until his or her problematic skin area has healed up. It is prohibited to use this device on any sensitive body part (e.g. mucous membranes).
• It is prohibited to use this device on any type of wound which has not yet healed up.
• It is also not advised to use this device on any person suffering from any hirsutism or skin hypertrichosis caused by other illnesses.
• Where necessary, please consult your physician before the use of this device.
• It is prohibited to use this device on any person with white hair or very dark skin.

The use of this device is discouraged on the following body part or under the following condition

1. Inside the mouth, pubes, mucous membranes, etc.
2. Areas subjected to plastic surgery or other operations
3. Adam’s apple
4. Eyeballs, eyelids, or around eyes
5. Acne-stricken areas
6. Speckle- or nevus-stricken areas
7. Eyebrows or hair
8. Ears
9. Nipples or areolas
10. Inside the navel
11. Large veins
12. Areas characterized by any tattoo or body painting

• This device adopts cutting-edge built-in cooling technology. Small in size, it features great light intensity, high speed in emitting flashes, and a good cooling effect.
• The cooling surface covers the light outlet. Whilst emitting flashes, the cooling surface simultaneously helps to reduce the burning sensation on the target skin areas for a painless and comfortable user experience.

Key Points of Hair Removal

1. Armpits
   • Before removing hair, please cleanse off any antiperspirant, perfume, or emulsion from the armpits. For slack skin, use fingers to tauten the skin before removing hair. It is not unusual to feel some mild heat on the skin exposed to flashlights.
2. Bikini line
   • Please set this device to a lower level of intensity for an area with darker skin due to pigmentation. Level 1 is recommended before your skin gets accustomed to it.
3. Hands and feet
   • It is more likely to feel some pain in a bony, convex, or concave skin area than others.
4. Do not use this device on any body part fitting into the following descriptions:
   • Characterized by a darker skin tone, stricken by any burn scar, chilblain, black nevus or tattoo, or in the vicinity of eyes, eyebrows, hair or temples, etc.
   • Within 48 hours after hair removal, protect the target skin area from exposure to ultraviolet radiation, especially direct exposure to sunlight. Be sure to apply some sunscreen cream onto the target skin area when going outdoors.
   • Be sure not to expose your eyes directly to any flashing light.

Directions for Use

How to use the Manual Flash Mode

1. Use a razor to shave the hair off the target skin area and cleanse the target skin area properly.
2. Escort the demotes ders and the Fasted notator light starts blinking.
3. Swipe the screen left and right to select an appropriate treatment mode according to the target skin area.
4. Choose an energy level. Level 1 is recommended for first-timers. The higher the energy level, the better the result to the extent that no harm is done to the skin.
5. Press the ‘Lighting button ‘to release flashlights and to remove hair manually.
6. Wear protective goggles and point the lighting head at the target skin area closely and vertically. Press the ‘Lighting button’ to start the hair removal. The device will not give out light as soon as its lighting head fails to get into touch with the target skin area. (You can press and hold the Lighting button for 2 seconds to enable the Auto-flash Mode to give out a flashing light while sliding.)

Regardless of whichever mode it has been set to, this device will be turned off automatically 3 minutes after being left unattended. When set to a working mode, this device will likewise be turned off automatically after having operated for 20 consecutive minutes.

Before You Start Hair Removal

1. Cleanse the target skin area thoroughly, and make sure it is completely dry and also free from hair or oily leftovers (e.g. essence or emulsion leftovers).
2. Make sure the light outlet is free from any dust, hair, or dirt, has not been damaged, and does not appear anomalous. Be sure to clean off all dirt (if any) to prevent this product from suffering any breakdown or deterioration or causing skin problems.
3. Do a test on the target skin area before using this product and check the condition of the tested skin area a few hours thereafter. You can use this product safely so long as the tested skin area shows no problem.

Setting Light Intensity

Devised particularly for hair removal at home, this product features a more desirable intensity of light which is split into six levels.
You can adjust the intensity of light in tune with the colors of your skin and body hair and make yourself feel at ease. The following checklist of light intensity recommendations will help you determine the suitable intensity of light.

1. Please consult the checklist to decide on an intensity level that is suitable for the color of your skin and hair.
   • Reminder : You can put the checklist provided in the Quick Start on your skin and compare it with your skin tone.
   • You are advised to keep the Quick Start in a safe place for future reference.
2. Please shift to a lower level if you feel any pain or discomfort. People with darker skin are more likely to fall victim to skin allergies because their skin tends to absorb more of the light.
   • Therefore, people with darker skin are advised to opt for a lower level of intensity.

Level-Intensity Checklist (Skin Tone Card)

Skin Test

• If you are using this product for the first time or have tanned your skin recently, be sure to take a test on each target skin area.
• The purpose is to find out whether your target skin reacts to the given light intensity and to determine the proper light intensity for each target skin area.

1. Choose a body part near the target skin area.
   • Note: Do not use this device on a body part that is sensitive or tricky (e.g. ankles or other parts of the skeleton).
2. Be sure to set the level at Level 1.
3. Place the device vertically onto the skin to enable its contact with the light outlet.
4. When the indicator light starts blinking, press the ‘Lighting button’ to give out flashing lights.
5. Slide this device on the surface of the skin to the next target skin area.
6. Increase the intensity of light to a higher level and enable this device to give out light for once, before sliding it to the next target skin area.
7. After the skin test is done, wait two hours and check the skin condition.
   • If the skin area exposed to light does not show any abnormality (redness or blister), you can be reassured about using this device.

Skincare After Treatment

• The target skin area shall not get wet within 6 hours after hair removal.
• Thereafter, you can apply some moisturizer onto the target skin area for moisturizing purposes.
• After hair removal, do not apply any perfume, facial mask, or cosmetics that contain exfoliation particles onto the target skin area.
• Within 48 hours after the hair removal, do not expose the target skin area to intensive ultraviolet radiation. Where necessary to do so, be sure to apply a due amount of sunscreen cream onto the target skin area for protection purposes.
• Do not expose the target skin area to any artificial tanning during the hair removal treatment.
• Please consult a physician for advice if you decide to conduct plastic surgery on the target skin area after hair removal.

Frequency of Use

Use this device at an appropriate frequency in light of the actual growth of your hair in the target skin area. It is feasible to use this device more often than usual if your hair grows quicker than average in which case a higher intensity of light can be used for hair removal. The frequency of use shall vary from one user to another.

Cleaning and Maintenance

To ensure the best performance and longest possible service life of this device, be sure to clean up this device before and after using it every time to prevent any hair or dust from accumulating in or on its body for long hours.

1. Examine this product and make sure its body, light outlet, and components are intact and clean.
2. Do not rinse out this device or any of its fittings with running tap water or inside a dishwasher.
3. Do not use a steel wire sponge, any abrasive detergent (e.g. toothpaste), or corrosive liquid (e.g. gasoline, engine oil, and acetone) to clean this device.

Note: Discontinue the use of this product when it becomes impossible to clean up its light outlet.

1. Turn off this device, disconnect it from power, and let it cool down.
   • When the product is being used, its light outlet will become warm. Be sure to let it cool down before cleaning it up.
2. Where necessary, use a piece of soft cleaning cloth to clean up the exterior of the product.
3. Dab a few drops of water onto the cleaning cloth and then use it to clean up the cooling surface.

• Note: In case water is not an ideal cleaning agent, it is advised to use a few drops of ethanol with a high concentration (up to 75%) to clean up the above parts.
• When discarding this device, do not mix it up with often-seen domestic wastes. Instead, be sure to hand it over to a designated recycling center for environmental protection purposes.
