Product Usage Instructions
Before Assembly
- Remove all parts and part packages from the box.
- If any parts are missing, contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.
Mounting Bracket Installation
- Hold the mounting bracket (A) with the two holes along its edge on the top and bottom, and ensure the head of the attached ground screw is facing outward.
- Carefully pull the house wires through the round hole in the mounting bracket (A).
- Align the holes in the mounting bracket (A) with the holes in the junction box.
- Thread each junction box screw (B) into the corresponding holes in the mounting bracket (A) and junction box. Tighten the screws to secure the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. Note: Ensure the house wires are pulled completely through the hole in the mounting bracket. Avoid pinching wires between the mounting bracket and wall.
Wire Connections
- Strip 3/4 of the insulation from the ends of the fixture wires.
- Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A), but do not completely remove it.
- Wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together.
- Twist a wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Refer to the chart below for correct wire connections.
- Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist a wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it.
- Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist a wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around the wire nuts (C) and wires to ensure they are securely fastened.
Final Steps
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
- Place the backplate (D) over the mounting bracket (A). Caution: Avoid pinching wires between the backplate and wall.

Installation Instruction
- Hold mounting bracket (A) so the two holes along the edge of the mounting bracket (A) are on the top and bottom of the mounting bracket (A) and the head of the attached ground screw is facing OUTWARD
- Carefully pull house wires through the round hole in the mounting bracket (A). Align holes in mounting bracket (A) with holes in the junction box.
- Thread each junction box screw (B) into holes in the mounting bracket (A) and into holes in the junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. CAUTION: Make sure house wires are pulled completely through hole in mounting bracket. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and wall.
- Strip 3/4” of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.

Twist end of the house neutral wire (white) and end of fixture neutral wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto ends of wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart to the right for correct wire connections.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into wire nuts.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.

9. Place backplate (D) over mounting bracket (A). CAUTION: Do not pinch wires between the backplate and wall.
10. Align holes in top and bottom of the backplate (D) with holes in top and bottom along the edge of the mounting bracket (A). Thread one fixture mounting screw (E) into each hole in top and bottom of the backplate (D) and into holes in the mounting bracket (A). Tighten fixture mounting screws (E) to secure the fixture to the wall.
11. Screw recommended bulb (E12 candelabra bulb type, not included) into the socket. Verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of fixture. WARNING: DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
