Product Usage Instructions

Connecting Modules

Before playing, make sure that all modules are connected to the controller.

Swapping Modules

To swap directional buttons or stick modules, follow these steps:

  1. Hold the controller firmly and locate the module you want to swap.
  2. Gently pull the module away from the controller to remove it.
  3. Align the new module with the slot on the controller and push it in until it clicks into place.

Using RB/LB Buttons, View/Menu Buttons, and Share Button

  • These buttons function as standard controller buttons. Press them according to the game or application you are using.

Microphone and Profile LEDs

  • The microphone status LED indicates the status of the microphone, while the profile LED indicates the active profile.

Xbox Button

  • Press the Xbox button to access the Xbox dashboard or turn on/off the controller.

Action Buttons

  • The action buttons are used for in-game actions such as jumping, shooting, or interacting with objects. Press them according to the game’s instructions.

Audio Port

  • The 1/8 / 3.5 mm audio port allows you to connect a headset or headphones for audio output and voice chat.

Swapping Grips

  1. Hold the controller firmly and locate the grip you want to swap.
  2. Gently pull the grip away from the controller to remove it.
  3. Align the new grip with the slot on the controller and push it in until it clicks into place.

Using the Proprietary USB Cable

  • Connect one end of the proprietary USB cable to the controller and the other end to a compatible USB port on your device for charging or wired gameplay.

Using the USB-C Port

  • The USB-C port allows you to connect the controller to compatible devices using a USB-C cable for charging or wired gameplay.

Using Swappable Progressive RT/LT Triggers

To swap or adjust the progressive RT/LT triggers, follow these steps:

  1. Hold the controller firmly and locate the trigger you want to swap or adjust.
  2. Gently pull the trigger away from the controller to remove it.
  3. If swapping, align the new trigger with the slot on the controller and push it in until it clicks into place. If adjusting, use the provided tool to adjust the trigger’s sensitivity.

Using Buttons 1-2-3-4

  • Buttons 1-2-3-4 can be programmed or assigned specific functions depending on the game or application you are using.
  • Consult the game’s instructions or settings to customize their functions.

Using Volume +/Volume -/Mic Mute Buttons

  • The volume +/volume – buttons allow you to adjust the audio volume, while the mic mute button allows you to mute or unmute the microphone.

Using Profile 1/Mapping/Profile 2 Buttons

  • The profile 1/mapping/profile 2 buttons allow you to switch between different profiles or mappings, depending on your preferences or game requirements.

Modifying the mapping of one of the two profiles:

  • Step 1: Select the profile to modify. then press the MAP button. The profile LED flashes.
  • Step 2: Press and hold the button you want to modify (1, 2, 3, or 4).
  • Step 3: Press the button you want to assign. The gamepad vibrates to indicate that the change is applied. The profile LED stops flashing and turns solid.

Updating your gamepad’s firmware

The firmware included in your gamepad can be updated to a more recent version featuring product enhancements. Launch the ThrustmapperX software and follow the instructions.
