Fitting instructions
Notice
- Mount original parts of the car as specified in the workshop manual.
- After mounting, check that the MAD spring has enough pre-tension.
- Protect metal parts with an anticorrosive coating.
- Readjust the headlights, and the camera and/or radar system if present.
- With multi-link suspension, we recommend realigning.

- Remove various exterior parts to reach the upper mounting of the strut.
- Remove the strut at the front side according to the work shop manual (fig. 1).
- Use spring tensioners at point 4 & 5.
- Remove the spring seat, main spring, bumpstop, and dustcover.
- Fit the MAD powerspring, bumpstop, dust cover and spring seat.
- Fit the strut under the car according to the work shop manual.
- Replace the removed exterior parts.
- Realign the vehicle. (fig. 4.)
