Assembly Instructions
IMPORTANT NOTES – PLEASE READ

Remove all protective plastic film before assembling.

Each corner fitting has a hole that a stacking pin can be inserted into. The bottom corner fittings should have the hole facing down and the top corner fittings should have the hole facing up.

Some frames and panels may have labels indicating where they should be used. Please check for labels!

Cold temperatures make certain parts more fragile. Allow your cabinet to reach room temperature before assembling.

4 x Short Bars (2 double channel bars, 2 single channel bars)

4 x Medium Bars (all single channel)

4 x Long Bars (2 double channel bars, 2 single channel bars)

2 x Support Bars
Step 1 – Assemble Bottom
a. Take out 4 Corner Fittings (6), 2 Medium Bars (9), and 2 Long Bars (10).
One of the long bars should be single channel and the other should be double
channel and have the “Reptile Habitats” logo on the front.
a. Use the provided hammer and the Corner Fittings (6) to connect the four
aluminum frames.
The side with the “Reptile Habitats” logo will become the front of your Deluxe
Hood Spacer.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the opening on each Corner Fitting is facing down,
as these openings are where you will insert stacking pins.
Step 2 – Assemble Sides
a. Take out the four Short Bars (8).
b. Attach the two Short Bars (8) with double channels to the front left & right Corner Fttings (6). These Short Bars should be labeled “This is the front.”
c. Attach the two Short Bars (8) with single channels to the back left & right Corner Fittings (6).
c. Slide the two Side Panels (1) and the 1 Back Panel (3) into the frames.
Step 3 – Build the Top Frame
a. Take out the remaining 4 Corner Fittings (6), 2 Medium Bars (9), and 2 Long
Bars (10). One of the Long Bars should be single channel and the other should
be double channel. The double channel Long Bar should be labeled “This is Top”
and “This is Front.”
b. Use the provided hammer and the Corner Fittings (6) to connect the four
aluminum frames.
Make sure the double channel Long Bar (10) is facing the front.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the opening on each Corner Fitting is facing up, as
these openings are where you will insert stacking pins
c. Attach the top frame using the hammer
Step 4- Install the Cord Port
a. Unscrew the back of the Cord Port (4).
b. Insert the Cord Port (4) into the hole on the Back Panel, with the handle facing the exterior of the hood.
c. Twist the back of the Cord Port (4) back on.
Step 5- Assemble the Doors
a. Using a screw driver, remove the screws from the Door Handles (5). Use the
screws to attach one Door Handle to each Door Panel (2)
b. Insert the top edge of the left Door Panel (2) into the back channel on the top frame. Align with the back channel on the bottom frame and drop into place.
b. Insert the top edge of the right Door Panel (2) into the front channel on the top frame. Align with the front channel on the bottom frame and drop into place.
Step 6 – Final Touches!
a. Lay the Support Bars (11) across the top of the hood, fitting them on top of the Long Frame Bars (10).
b. As needed, insert the Stacking Pins (7) into the hole of each Corner Fitting (6).
