Overview
Set Up the Device
Get Imou Life App
Scan the QR code below or search for “Imou Life” in the app store to download and install the app.
If you already use the app, make sure that you are using the latest version.
Pairing Setup
Place the device close to the gateway. Make sure the gateway is powered on. Press the button on the front of the gateway and wait until the indicator slowly flashes blue.

Twist the mounting base anticlockwise to remove it.

Pull out the battery insulation film.

Hold down the Set button for 5 s until the LED flashes green to enter the pairing mode.
Use the Imou Life app to scan the QR code on the manual and follow the instructions on the app.
Installation

Install the device on the wall about 7.22 ft (220 cm) above the floor

Remove the protective film from the 3M adhesive sticker, and attach the magnetic base to where you want to install
Cautions and Warnings
- Make sure you don’t aim the device at heat sources, like an air conditioner, electric fan, refrigerator or oven.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- Attach the device at the spot where your pets can’t get close to it by climbing on the furniture.
