Select the Ventilation Mode
INFORMATION
- Adequate combustion and gas exhaust requires the presence of a sufficient amount of air in the flue (chimney) of appliances using combustible fuels, to prevent reversed airflow.
- In the course of the evaluation of air pressure, the entire ventilation system of the house/flat needs to be considered.
- Authority regulations applicable to the delivery of extracted air must be observed. If the exhaust hood is used in recycling ventilation mode with an activated carbon or cotton filter, no limitations apply to the operation of the appliance.
- If external ventilation mode is preferred, two types of ventilation methods are possible, “horizontal connection” and “vertical connection”.
- Use a suitable tool to remove the cover, and install the butterfly valve into the opening before use.
- The square-shaped butterfly valve required for “horizontal connection” is not included in the supply.
Preparation of Installation
Before the commencement of installation works, ensure that the appliance is
disconnected from the power supply. The plug should be positioned to ensure
easy disconnection and connection. The help of two persons will be required to
