  1. Operate only from the power source specified on the unit.
  2. Avoid damaging the AC plug.

  5. In the event of mechanical damage, unplug the unit and call a service technician. Do not attempt to repair it yourself or remove the rear cover.

Changes or modifications not approved by JVC could void the warranty.

  • When you don’t use this TV set for a long period of time, be sure to disconnect both the adaptor from the AC outlet and antenna for your safety.
  • To prevent electric shock do not use this power plug with an extension cord, receptacle or other outlet unless the blades can be fully inserted to prevent blade exposure.

  6. Clean only with a dry cloth.
  7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains etc. There must be a minimum distance of 5cm clear space around the unit at all times to ensure proper ventilation.
  8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. No naked flame sources such as lit candles, should be placed on or near the unit.
  9. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles and the point where they exit from the unit.
  10. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  11. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table specified by the manufacturer or sold with the unit. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/unit combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
  12. Unplug this unit during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the unit has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the unit, the unit has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally or has been dropped.
  14. The unit should not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the unit:
  15. Place the television on a stable, flat surface. Failure to do so can result in the television falling, causing injury.

  18. Avoid improper installation and never position the unit where good ventilation is impossible. When installing this unit, distance recommendations must be maintained between the set and the wall, as well as inside a tightly enclosed area or piece of furniture. Keep to the minimum distance guidelines shown for safe operation.
  19. Cautions for installation
    • Do not tilt the unit left, right or towards the back.
    • Ensure the power cord is out of the path of foot traffic.
    • The unit will generate a slight amount of heat during operation. Ensure that sufficient space is available around the unit to allow satisfactory cooling.
    • Have two people remove the unit from the box with the screen facing away from you. Its possible your clothing (such as a belt buckle or button) may scratch the front of the unit Do the same when moving the unit to another location.
  20. Make enough room for inserting and removing the power plug. Place the unit as close to the outlet as possible. The main power supply for this unit is controlled by inserting or removing the power plug. Physically disconnecting the power plug is the only way to completely disconnect the unit from the mains power source.
  21. Batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
  22. When this unit is connected to the wall outlet, it is always on standby even when all the LED lamps are not lit. To shut down the unit, unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
  23. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced before further use by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  24. Always place the TV on furniture that can safely support the TV.Make sure the ends of the TV do not hang over the edge of the supporting furniture.
  25. Do not place the TV on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or bookcases) withoutanchoring both the furniture and the TV to a wall or other suitably strong support.
  26. Do not stand the TV on cloth or other materials placed between the TV and the supporting furniture.
  27. Where the mains adaptor is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

WARNING

Never place a television set in an unstable location. A television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. Many injuries, particularly to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as:

  • Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer of the television set.
  • Only using furniture that can safely support the television set.
  • Ensuring the television set is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.
  • Not placing the television set on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture and the television set to a suitable support.
  •  Not placing the television set on cloth or other materials that may be located between the television set and supporting furniture.
  • Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its controls.
  • If your existing television set is being retained and relocated, the same considerations as above should be applied.

TV Stand Installation Instructions

  1. Open the box and take out the TV and accessories.
  2. Lay the TV face down on a soft cloth or a towel on a flat surface like a table.
  3. Align each Leg to the holes on the bottom of the TV, then use the provided 2x Screws to attach the Leg to the TV. Repeat for the other Leg.

Note: Use a PH2 type screwdriver to prevent scratches and for best results.

Position your TV

  • Choose a suitable location for your TV.
  • It should bear the weight of the TV and the
  • TV should have sufficient ventilation.
  • Light shouldn’t shine onto the screen.
  • Soft lighting is recommended.
  • Do not locate in a damp or hot environment.
  • Keep away from water.

Connect antenna and power

  • Connect the antenna cable to the antenna socket on the back of the TV.
  • We recommend connecting to a good quality outdoor antenna.

This TV can be powered in two ways

  1. From mains supply via a DC 12V Mains Adaptor included.
  2. From 12 V supply via the 12V Car Adaptor included.

Remote control

  • Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert 2x AAA batteries ensuring correct polarities as marked.

Turn on the TV

  • Once the TV is powered, it is in standby mode.
  • Now press the power button on the TV or the remote control to turn on the TV.

The length of the screw specified is only a recommendation; actual length required can vary depending on the type of wall mount used.

Note

  1. A wall mount is not included with the 1V; it needs to be purchased separately.
  2. Use only VESA-compatible wall mounts according to the specifications recommended for this model. Use of other wall mounts, or inappropriate installation may cause personal injuries or damage to the 1V.
  3. Please follow all instructions from the user manual of your chosen wall mount.

  1. RJ45: Connect to the Internet.
  2. OPTICAL: Digital Audio Output.
  3. AV input: External AV Signal Input and Right/Left Audio Inputs.
  4. HDMI input: Connect to the HDMI outputjack of up to 3 external video sources (eg. DVD player/ Bluray player / games console).
  5. ANT 75/RF Connection: Connéct to the antenna/cable TV output of your device or wall piate.
  6. USB Input: Connect to your USB device for PVR recording or to play compatible multimedia files stored in it.

Remote control

  • The remote control uses 2 x ‘AAA’ batteries. Please ensure correct polarities when inserting batteries.

Note: This is a Bluetooth remote control. In order to use all its features including voice control, please pair it with the TV as explained in “Initial Setup’ in the following pages.

Initial Setup

  • For the first initial setup, on-screen setup wizard will guide you through setting up your TV.
  • Please follow the guide to setup your TV correctly.

Language select

  • Use buttons to select system languages, then press OK to confirm.

Quickly set up your TV with your Android™ phone? (Continue/skip)

To connect your Android Smartphone to your TV.Select “Continue”.

  1. On your Android Phone, open the Pre-installed app “Google”.
  2. Type or say, “Ok Google, set up my device”.
  3. Tap the model name on the list.

Note: Press “BACK” to cancel
If you just want to use your TV normally,please select “Skip”

Configure the network

  • Press buttons to select Wi-Fi you wish to connect to, enter the password and then confirm to connect. If you select “Skip”, it could be performed in homepage or settings menu.
  • If using the Ethernet connection, you can skip this step.

Google Account Sign in

  • Sign in to get new apps, recommendations, movies, and more from Google.

Use your remote

  • Use the remote to enter your Google Account and password to sign in to your Google Account

  • Accept the Google Terms of Service to improve the product experience, Select “Accept” to proceed with this condition.

  • Select “Accept” to confirm if you want your location identified on your Android TV and agree to automatically send diagnostic information to Google to help improve your Google experience.

Play Auto Installs

  • Select install or un-install the recommended apps and Google Play apps by using this process.
  • Select “Continue” to the next page.
  • Google Assistant: Press Google Assistant button on your remote control. Use your voice to search for shows, control devices, and more.

Information screens will now appear,you can scroll through steps by pressing “RIGHT” directional button to continue.

Pairing Bluetooth Remote

  • Press ‘BACK’ and ‘VOL-‘ simultaneously on remote control to enter the Bluetooth pairing mode. The indicator light on remote control will flash when starting the pairing mode. When both buttons are pressed, the pairing process will start.
  • If pairing is successful, you will see the below image on screen.

If pairing failed, the TV will prompt you to repeat the pairing process as below.

  1. Press “OK” to skip the pairing mode.

Important: The remote control pairing process can be initiated at any time by pressing the ‘Google Assistant’ button on the remote control.

  • Select the country you are using the device in with the A /V directional buttons, then press (OK) to confirm.
  • Password: Please set password. 00° Is invalid.

Time Zone

  • please choose the time zone as you need.

Select TV mode(Home/Retail)

  • Select “Home” if you are using this TV for use at home. Make sure to confirm once you have selected “Home”.

Chromecast Built-In always available

  • Select On/Off to make Chromecast built-in available.

TV Channel Setting (This is Channel scan during start up)

  • You may select Channel Scan type as below image.
  • If you select “Skip”, the channel scan could be skipped.

    • Use your voice to jump to shows, contre! devices, and more —just ask Google.
  2. Apps
    • Select “Apps’ to have access to all your applications. Pre-installed applications are available for you in this row, select “Google Play”, if you wish to search and download additional apps.
  3. Play Next
    • Each row past this point will display recommended content from the apps you already have installed.
  4. Notifications
    • Display all notifications relating to anything on your Android TV.
  5. Inputs
    • Select this if you want to adjust your TV input, Example: TV, HDMI1, HDMI2.
  6. Network
    • Displays the network connectivity, Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  7. Settings
    • Manage apps and TV controls, change preferences, sounds, and account.

Adjust various settings of your TV.

  1. Press button to select “Settings” which is in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Press button to select the option which you want to adjust in the Settings menu.
  3. Press OK to enter.

Network & Internet

Adjust network settings and check connection if you have connection problems.

  1. Press button to select “Network & Internet” in the settings menu.
  2. Press button to select: Wi-Fi/Add new network/Scanning always available/Proxy settings/IP settings.

Channel

Display the scan sub-menu based on different channel installation modes.

  1. Press button to select “Channel Source” & Channel installation Mode & Parent Control. •
  2. Press OK to enter “Parental Controls”, then press or use the number buttons on remote control to enter the default password “1234”.
  3. Press button to select Channels Blocked, Program Restrictions, Inputs Blocked and Change PIN.

Auto Channel Scan

  • Choose Settings -> Channel > Channels -> Channel Scan. This will start a channel scan, wait for the scan to finish (100%).

  1. Press button to select the options of About, Date & Time, Timer, Language, Inputs, Picture, Sound, Google Assistant, Reset and others.
  2. Press (OK) to jump to the corresponding sub-option.

  1. Press button to check additional information such as System update, Device name, Restart, Status, and more.
  2. Press BACK button to return to the previous menu.

Factory reset

  • Choose Settings -> Device Preferences – Factory Reset -> Delete everything to do a factory reset on your TV.
  • If Factory reset is selected, it will erase all data from your device’s internal storage, including: your Google Account, system and app data and settings, and downloaded apps.

  1. Press “ ” button or Select “Live TV” on Homepage.
    • Important: You will need to perform a Channel Scan every time you use the TV in a new location. Choose Settings -> Channel – Channels – Channel Scan to scan for available channels.
  2. Press button, then select “Channels” and select “Channel Scan” to enter.

  4. Press the OK button OK on the remote control to enter Channel List.

  6. Choose a position (Favourites 1, 2 etc.) for the chosen channel.

  • To have access and to download applications from Google Play, you must sign in with a Google Account.

  • Once you open Google Play, you will be prompted to sign in or create a new account.

  • Once you have signed in, you will be brought to the below page, scroll through the list of applications available for download or press the Google Assistant button on your remote to talk to Google.

  • You may also click “Search” on top right of screen to start search.

Multi-Media Player

EPG Function

  • EPG is an on-screen guide available for digital channels ONLY. EPG allows you to view a list of digital programs being broadcast.
  • To enter the EPG, press EP G on the remote control and the program guide menu will appear.
  • You can use A/V/ </ > on the remote control to navigate through the different programs.
  • Use the related color buttons shown at the bottom of the screen to view EPG.

NOTE: When you go through the programs, the background channel changes according to the programs viewed.

PVR Function

Note: Connect FAT32 format USB to your TV to start recording.

To access recording menu:

  1. Press “Menu Button on your remote control while watching live tv.
  2. ‘TV Options’ will appear on screen, scroll down (Down Button) and choose ‘Record’ to go into record menu.
  3. Press the PVR button (one with the red dot) on the remote control to start recording.
  4. To stop recording, press the Stop Button on the remote control.
  5. Select ‘Record List’ to view previous recordings.
  6. Select ‘Schedule List’ to see programs you have scheduled for recording.

USB Function

  • Cónnect FAT32 format USB to your TV to start PVR recording, Timeshift or Multimedia playback function.
  • You may choose “MMP” App from Home Screen to access your USB.
  • The built-in multimedia player app (MMP) is best suited for playing files recorded on this TV.
  • If you experience compatibility issues when playing other media files, we recommend that you use a third-party app like VLC or similar.
