Preface

Thanks for choosing high-definition professional body camera. With small size and integrated design, PD70 i easy to operate. Supported by high-defintion and dynamic image capturing technology, it can record scenes and various activities anytime anywhere, so that you can record and share important experiences. This manual specified how to use and install PD70 and provides detailed information, including the instructions on use, operation and installation as well as technical specifications. please read this manual carefully to understand it before use and keep it well for long-term reference.

Product Profile

This product is a high definition body camcorder. It features with HD video and audio recording and photo-taking, cycle video recording, infrared night vision, high-speed data transmission, location point lighting, and LED lighting. With attached accessories, this product integrating multiple patented technologies and can be used to video record anytime anywhere.

“Wi-Fi connection (optional)

Attentions:
A. Before Wi-Fi is connected, please turn off mobile phone Bluetooth / VPN service.
B. The default Wi-Fi name of the camera is “PHD836”. Initial password: 12345678. If you forget your password, please try to reset the camera in the menu.
C. Wi-Fi effective distance is about 15 meters, if there is a building wall blocking or range is more than 15 meters, Wi-Fi signal will weaken.
D. The mobile phone and the camera use a point-to-point direct connection. It does not use the 2G/3G/4G network, so it does not consume mobile phone traffic when you view in real time and download videos on phone APP.
E. After Wi-Fi is turned on, the power consumption of the whole machine will increase, continuous recording time will be reduced by 1~2 hours.
F. The Wi-Fi function is for both apple phones and Android phones.

1. Search for “ZFXF” App in “App Store” or “Google Play’, then download and install it

2. After the installation is complete, enter the “ZFXFCAM” App, then click Add Device to find the corresponding model and add the camera.

3. Turn on the camera Wi-Fi, enter mobile phone’s the WiFi settings to find Wi-Fi “PHD836” and connect it. Initial password “12345678”. Please turn off the phone Bluetooth/VPN proxy before connecting.
   How to turn on the Wi-Fi?
   Method 1: In standby mode, long press “ key to turn on Wi-Fi function
   Method 2: In standby mode, short press” “to enter the settings menu, then find and turn on Wi-Fi function

4. Go back to “ZFXF CAM” APP, the live preview interface is as follow Attentions
   To make image smoother, live preview adopts low bit rate, it does not affect the real recording effect.

Product Structure

Product Operating

1.Power on/off:
Short press power key to turn on camera, there is prompt melody tone during loading. Then the camera enters standby mode. Press the power key and hold for 2 seconds to power off camera. Attention:
A. When battery capacity is less than 5%, camera will show “Low Battery Power”lIt still can work about 30 mins;
B. Power off the camera before battery charging. Blue led lights up when battery charging, and turn off after fully charged. Charging time is 3 hours;
C. To turn off motion detection, please turn off the camera, motion detection is designed for long time monitoring; Please turn off this motion detection function when in normal daily use;
D. Please use original included power adapter and power cord to charge camera. It might cause camera reset/slow charging/adapter hot/or even damage camera if Not used the original included power cord when charging.
2.Video recording:
In standby mode, short press  to start video recording, the red status light will flash slowly;
Short press “ again to stop recording, the red led light will stop flash, and its video footage will be saved as a MOV file. During video recording, short press ” ” to switch on/off IR lights; short press ” toswitch on/off location point light;
Long press “ ” to switch on/off Led lights; Parameters, such as,video recording time, battery capacity, free storage capacity are shown on the LCD screen.

Attention:
A. During video recording, if the battery power is insufficient, the system will save current record and warn “low battery power” until the camera turned off;
B. During video recording process, if the memory is fully (cycle video recording is disabled), the system will save current record and return to standby interface;
C. After night vision is enabled, the video will be black and white. It is normal;
D. When turning on loop recording, after storage is full, the camera will keep recording by covering old data.
3. Photo shooting:
In standby mode, short press ” to shoot a photo with a “click” sound and save a JPG file; During video recording, short press ” ” to switch on/off IR lights; short press ” to switch on/off Ioca polnt light; Long press “ ” to switch on/off Led lights; During video recording, can press ” to capture a photo too. Attentions:
A. When the infrared night vision is on, the photo will be in black and white. It is normal;
B. As wide-angle lens is adopted, the edge of the photos may be deformed. It is normal;
4. Audio Recording:
In standby mode, short press “ ” to start audio recording; During video recording, the orange status light will flash slowly; Short press ” again to stop recording, the orange led light will stop flash, and its audio file will be saved as a MP3 file. 5. File Playback:
Video Playback:
In standby mode, short Press “ ” key to enter Playback menu, select   then short press” ” key to enter video listing, short press key ” key to select a video, Short press “ ” key to play this video, during playing, short press “ “ key to pause / start, short press” ” key to return to the previous menu mode; During playing, long press ” “key “ ” key to fast-forward or rewind. On video listing page, short press “ ” key to enter “DELETE FILE” submenu, select “Delete One ” or Delete All” to delete files if necessary; select “Protect One” or “Unprotect One” to lock a files in avoid to be rewritten; Or unlock a file so it can be deleted or can be rewritten by next loop recordings.
Photo View:
In standby mode, short press “ ” key to enter Playback menu, select” “,then short press “ ” key to enter photo listing, short press ” key key to select a photo, On Photo listing page, short press “ ” key to enter “DELETE FILE” submenu, select “Delete One ” or “Delete All” to delete files if necessary; Select “Protect One” or “Unprotect One” to lock a files in avoid to be rewritten; Or unlock a file so it can be deleted or can be rewritten by next loop recordings. Short press’ “ key to return to the previous menu mode. Audio Playback
In standby mode, short Press “ key to enter Playback menu, select “then short press ” ” key to enter audio listing, short press “ “key “ ” key to select a piece of audio. Short press “ ” key to play the piece of audio, during playing, short press ” key to pause / start, short press” ” key to return to the previous menu mode; During playing, long press “key  key to fast-forward or rewind.On audio listing page, short press “ ” key to enter “DELETE FILE” submenu, select “Delete One ” or ” Delete All” to delete files if necessary; select “Protect One” or “Unprotect One” to lock a file in avoid to be rewritten; Or unlock a file so it can be deleted or can be rewritten by next loop recordings.
6. Turn on/off screen:
Short press “ to turn on/off screen when the camera is working.
7. Reset :
When the camera crashes or stops due to improper operation or other special reasons, please press to reset the camera. 8. Charging
Please use the original power plug and USB cable to charge the camera.
Blue led lights up when battery charging, and turn off after fully charged.
Please power off the camera after connected to a power source.
9. Connect with HDMI
Connect the camera with HD monitor by HDMI cable to operate the camera
Attentions:
A. LCD screen and voice of the camera are off when connecting HD monitor, they can display through HD monitor;
B. During connecting with HDMI Moitor, wrong plug may cause function disorder. If so, Please reset the camera as above.
10. Connect with USB:
Data of the camera can be read on the PC by USB cable. Wrong usage of USB can cause dysfunction.
If so, please Fress reset key to solve it.
Attentions: If a computer doesn’t recognize the camera
A. Please make sure you are using the original USB cable
B. Please try to connect the camera to other USB ports, it is recommended to connect the camera to the back panel of your desktop PC.
11. Revise system time:
In standby mode, short press ” to enter Clock settings * interface to revise time. PD70 records date and time during video recording. That information can be showed on the video / photo.
12. ID Setting:
In standby mode, short press ” to enter “ID setting” interface and you can modlf%/ the ID number, When shooting video/ photo, ID number will be showed on the lower right corner of the video / photo.
13. Wi-Fi function (optional)
When enable Wi-Fi function, the camera can be operated via mobile phone APP.(refer to page 2).

Product Parameter Setting

In standby mode, short press “ ” to enter menu interface, short press “ ” or “ ” to select menu, then short press * ” to access setting options, short press

• or * ” to set, then short press ” to save and quit the setting. Short press
• ” to return to standby interface. The function keys are below during setting the camera. Video resolution
  4K30/1440P30/1296P30/1080P30(recommend)/720P60/480P60 Memory capacity and video recording time.
  4K30/1440P 30 are only available on 4K version

Note: PD70 supports loop video recording. When the memory card is full, PD70 will delete the previous video and continue video recording. When super storage is on, recording time is doubled.
Photo pixel
48M / 24 / 12 (recommend)
(48M is for 4K version)
More memory is needed if the photo size is larger, meanwhile the photo will be more clear
Video quality
ON/OFF(recommend)
When setting is on, camera will be double in recording time, video quality will be fallen 15%.
Video loop
ON(recommend)/OFF
When setting is on, the camera record and save videos according to the recording time setting.
When the memory is full, camera deletes previous video file automatically and continues recording.
When setting is off, if memory is full, camera stops recording and return to standby mode, it won’t delete videos.
Video clip
Smins(recommend)/10mins/15mins
If set Smins, its means each video clip saves per 5mins.Video clip will use more memory room if longer minutes setting in this section.
Motion detect
ON/OFF(recommend) When motion detect is on, PD70 starts recording for one minute when it detects moving object. If there is no moving object, PD70 will return back monitoring status. When motion detection on, thereis ” ” on the screen.
Note: This function is only for longtime monitoring. When in normal use, please disable it; Disable motion detection: please long press the power button, motion detection option is only for single time use, after shut down it automatically revert to ” off “.
Screen off
1 min (recommended)/3 min /off When setting is “1 min”, screen turns off automatically if no operation within 1 minute. (Press any key to turn on screen, video/audio recording won’t be interrupted.) When setting is “off”, screen stays on. It turns off after 1 minute without operation when you use it next time.
Power off
1 minute(recommend)/3 minutes/5 minutes
When the setting is “3 minutes”, then PD70 will power off automatically if there is no operation within 3 minutes.

Indicator sound
ON(recommended)/OFF
When setting is “off”, the indicator sound of all keys/photo/power on is disabled.
Vibration
ON(recommended)/OFF
When setting is “off”, the indicator vibrating of all keys/photo/power on is disable.
Microphone
On(recommend)/Off
When setting is “ON”, camera records audio and video at the same time. When setting is “OFF”, camera records video without audio.
WIFi function (optional)
When enable Wi-Fi function, the camera can be operated via mobile phone APP. (refer to page 2) .
Car mode
On/Off(recommend)
Camera automatically starts recording after power on when setup with On;
Camera does not start recording after power on when Setup with Off.
Note: Car USB charger and Suction cup holder are Not standard accessories, please contact seller for purchase if necessary.
Virus scan
On(recommend)/Off
Virus detection and destroy viruses automatically within camera when Setup with On, avoid to corrupt the computer system.
ID setup
Set ID number
Use upwards key, downwards key and confirm key to revise.
Indicator light
ON(recommend)/OFF
When setting is “off”, red video recording and orange voice recording indicator are off when the camera is working
Language
Please select language according to actual demand.
Format SD-Card
When the storage is abnormal, please use this function to format the camera storage.
Reset
All setting will be returned back to original factory setting.
Clock settings
Revise system time Use upwards key, downwards key and confirm key to revise.
VER
Display the software version of the system.

Files Playback and Saving

After powered on, use USB cable to connect the camera with PC, then copy the files from PD70 to the PC for playing;

• Plug and Play. The connection between PD70 and PC is driver free in various operating system such as Win XP/Win7/Win8/Win10;
• Please be sure that the USB cable is connected with the rear USB connector of the PC (as front USB connector may be insufficient in power supply);
• After connected successfully, the screen will display “USB connecting..”, otherwise, the connection is failed.

Attentions:
A. Please copy important data to the hard disk of PC in time for permanent storage;
B.If video and audio is asynchronous, please install professional video player to play the video;
C.If there is no portable disk showing in the PC, please try again with another USB connector or cable.

Playback for 4K Videos

Attentions: This function is only available on 4K version
4K video requires a computer with high computer configuration. Playback with a normal player may display abnormal image, picture and sound are out of sync.
Please use a professional player to play 4K videos, such as PotPlayer, MPC, KMPlayer.
Action Mode
Attentions: This function is only available on 4K version, 60fps is not available in4K30FPS

• Action mode does 60fps high rate recording, will improve fluency
• When enabled, video recording will be improved to 60fps, suitable for use at high speeds, but battery life will be reduced by 30%
• When disabled, video recording will be standard 30fps.
• When recording at normal speeds, in videos, there are little different between 30fps and 60fps, please use the function according to the actual situation.

Troubleshooting

Q: I connect the camera to a computer, but the computer doesn’t recognize it?
A: 1. Please make sure you are using the original USB cable.
2. Please try to connect the camera to other USB ports, it is recommended to connect the back panel of your desktop PC.
Q: Wi-Fi connection is failed with a message: No Internet Connection?
A: The camera may already be connected to other devices, please disconnect it first.
Q: How could I purchase some car charger and suction mount?
