Product Usage Instructions

1. To return to the previous interface, short press the Audio Button.

2. To enter the camera menu, long press the OK Button.

3. For video or audio playback issues or no sound in videos,
   follow these steps:

5. Turn on “Record with Sound” to on.

6. It is recommended to play back videos using the VLC media player or Quick Time Player

PREFACE

Thanks for choosing high-definition professional BOBLOV body camera. This manual specified how to use TS and provides detailed information, including the instructions on use, operation and installation as well as technical specifi­cations. Please read this manual carefully to understand it before use and keep it well for long-term reference.

CHARGING

There are three ways to charge this camera.

• The camera is charged by the charger and USB cable When charging, power indicator is solid with blue, after fully charged, power indicator is off. (This way support recording while charging )
• USB charging mode (input voltage DCSV-2A}, Connect the unit to the computer with a USB cable to charge.

1. In power on status, when charging, work indicator is solid with red; power indicator is solid with blue, after fully charged, power indicator is off.
2. In power off status, when charging, power indicator is solid with blue, after fully charged, power indicator is off.

Charge with a dedicated charging dock:
Open the battery cover under the lens, remove the battery and place it in the correct orientation for charging.

REPLACE THE BATTERY

This unit comes standard with two batteries. When a battery is too low and it is not convenient to charge directly, you can replace the backup battery to continue recording. The specific way to replace the battery is as follows:

• A. Open the battery cover safety lock;
• B. Hold the machine with both hands as shown and push outward with two thumbs;
• C. After replacing the battery, install it back in the opposite step.

BUTTON OPERATION STATEMENT

Power/Screen On/Off Button

• Long press Button to turn on/off camera;
• Short press Button to turn on/off LCD screen when camera is on .

Video Record Button/ File Protection Button

• Short press Button to start recording video when in standby mode, short press Button again to stop recording and save the video file.
• During video recording, long press  Button to mark the video which is being recorded, while a yellow  sign appears on the screen, long press  again to cancel the mark. ( Note: the name of a marked video file will end with a yellow  sign in playback page. Also, locked videos will not be covered by loop recording.)

Photo Button/ Night Vision Button

• Short press Button to take a photo when in standby mode; Short press to take a single snapshot image while in video recording status.
• Long press Button to turn on/off IR night vision light.

Audio Recording Button / Return Button

• Short press ” ” Button to start recording a piece of audio when in standby mode; short press again to stop recording and save the audio file.
• In power off status , long press ” . ” Button for 3 seconds to boot the camera and it will automatically record a piece of audio, short press again to stop recording and save the audio file.
• On menu or playback page, short press ” ” Button to exit.

OK Button / Menu Button

• When in standby mode, long press” OK” Button to enter menu page, short press ” OK” to confirm current selection.
• When in standby mode, short press “OK” Button to enter playback page

UP/Left Button/ Laser Button

• On settings menu or playback page, short press ” ” Button to move the selection up or left.
• In video playback process, short press ” ” Button to fast forward.
• In photo viewing mode, short press ” ” Button to move to the next photo
• In standby mode or video recording mode, short press ” ” Button to turn on laser positioning light, short press it again to turn off laser positioning light.
• In standby mode or video recording mode, long press ” “Button to zoom out, adjustable 0-16 times digital zoom.

Down/Right Button/ White Light Button

• On settings menu or playback page, short press ” ” Button to move the selection down or right.
• In video playback mode, short press ” ” Button to fast rewind.
• In photo viewing mode, short press “ ” Button to move to the previous photo.
• In standby mode or video recording mode, short press ” ” Button to turn on white light, short press it again to turn off white light.
• In standby mode or video recording mode, long press “ ” Button to zoom in, adjustable 0-16 times digital zoom.

Resolution Switch Button / PPT Button :
In standby mode, short press ” PPT ” Button to switch resolution. (If you want use PPT function with walkie-talkie for intercome, please contact us for customized. The min qty is S00pcs.)

Reset Button
When device crashes or stops due to improper operation or other special reasons, please press the button with a small needle to reset the device.

BASIC FUNCOON OPERATION

Power On/ Power Off
Long press “Button for seconds to turn on camera, the green light is on; when camera is powered on, short press the power button to turn the screen off/on, or long press to power off the device.

Screen Statement (Red ordinary recording, Blue pre-recording)

Screen Protection / Power Saving Feature

1. Screen protection feature : If there is no operation within 60 seconds (default), the device will turn off screen automatically to protect the screen. (this feature can be set to 30 seconds or off).
2. Power saving feature: If there is no operation within 5 minutes (default), the camera will power off automatically to save power. (this feature can be set to 1 minute, 3 minutes or off)

System Setting
Long press OK button to enter menu page

1. Short press “Up/Down/OK” Button to select an option and confirm.
2. Short press” “Button to exit menu page.

Video Recording

1. In standby mode, short press” “Button to record a video, during this process, LED indicator flashes red and there is a red dot in the screen, press it again to stop recording and save, video files are named after the date and time, saved in MP4 format
2. Motion Detection: If you enable motion detection feature, the device will enter a 5-second countdown, and start recording if detected a moving object; if there is not a moving object detected, the device will stop recording in 10 seconds.
3. Pre-Record: If you enable Pre-record function, it allows you to record extra 15 seconds video before recording start, while a blue flashing dot is displayed on the screen.
4. Post-Record: If you set Post-Record to 5s / 30s / lminute / 5minutes, the device will record extra 5s / 30s / lminute / 5minutes video after recording stop.
5. Record with sound: If you set Video Sound to OFF, the device will record videos without sound.
6. Stealth Mode: If you set Stealth mode to ON, the device will disable all sound and light of the device in video recording, audio recording and photographing.
7. Dash Camera Mode: If you set Car Dash Cam Mode to ON, the device will start recording automatically when connected to an USB power supply.

Take Photos:

1. Single shot: In standby mode, short press” “Button once, red light flashes once, and take one photo, photo files are named after the date and time, saved in JPG format.
2. Multiple shots: If you set Photo Burst Mode to 3P/5P/10P/20P, when the device is powered on, short press” “Button once, red light flashes once, and take 3/5/10/20 photos, photo files are named after the date and time, saved in JPG format.
3. Snapshot: During video recording, short press” ” Button to take one photo, photo files are named after the date and time, saved in JPG format(Multiple shots is available too)

Audio Recording
This camera is able to record audio independently, when camera is powered on, short press” “Button to start recording a piece of audio, led indicator flashes orange, press it again to stop recording and save, audio files are named after the date and time, saved in MP3 format; or when camera is powered off, long press” “Button for 3 seconds to boot the camera and then it will record a piece of audio directly.

Loop Recording
If you enable loop recording feature, when storage is full, the device will keep recording by covering old data.
(Note:  This action will not cover videos which are in protection)

Files View/ Playback
In standby mode, short press” OK “Button to enter Files view / Playback page, short press “OK/UP/Down” Button to view or play files, or short press “ “Button to exit Files view /Playback page.

Data Transfer
Method Directly into the U disk to transfer data when the machine connected to the computer.

File Deletion
You are not able to delete any file with the device itself. You are only able to delete files by connecting to a computer.

Reset
When the device crashes or stops due to improper operation or other special reasons, please press the button to reset the device.

LED INDICATOR

The Power/Status indicator of this device in operation is shown below

Power Indicator:

• Charging status: Solid with blue
• Fully charged: Indicator is off
• Standby mode: Solid with green

Status Indicator:

• Video recording: Flash with red
• Take a photo: Flash once with red
• Audio recording: Flash with orange

TROUBLESHOOTING

The device is unable to boot and buttons do not work.

1. Please connect the device to a power supply and press the power button to see if it can be powered on.
2. Charge the device for 5 hours and see if can solve the problem.
3. Please check if the charger and connection cable are normal.
4. Please reset the device by pressing reset button and check whether the problem is solved.
5. If the problem can not be solved, please contact the seller or BOBLOV after sales team.

Q： Video or audio can not be played ? or no sound for vides?
A: Please long press ”OK” button to enter menu, and turn on” record with sound” to on. It is recommended to play back video on the VLC media player or Quick Time Player.

Q: Why the screen turns off automatically?
A: The camera enters the LCD Auto Off mode in default Without 5 minutes operation. If you want the display Is always on, please enter the menu to set LCD Auto Off option to Off. LCD Auto Off option can be set to off/1min/3min/5min.

Q: Why does the camera shut off auto?
A: Please check whether the Auto Power Off option in The menu is auto power off in 15 mins without any operation. If you want the camera to stay power-on state ,please enter the menu to set Auto Power Off to Off. Auto Power Off mode can beset to off/5min/10min/15min.

Q: The camera is stop recording after a coupon of hours?
A: To make sure the camera works well, fully charged
4-6hours before recording, then check if the sd card is full memory. we advised to open the loop recording in the menu, then the recording will cover previous file to save more space.
