All ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Detergents are designed to work in both regular and

biodegradable?

biodegradable.
Can ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Detergent be used for pre-treating?
ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Laundry Detergents can be used for pre-treating.

ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Detergent HE can be used for pre-treating. However, as

Can I use chlorine bleach with ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Detergent with Bleach
Alternative?
Yes, however it is not necessary to use both chlorine bleach and bleach
alternative.
Can I use ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Detergent with Color-Safe Bleach
Alternative as a pre-treat or pre-soak?
You may use our Color-Safe Bleach Alternative product as a pre-treat but we
do not recommend using as a pre-soak. For use as a pre-treat, just pour the
detergent directly onto the stained area, rub gently and then add the item
immediately and directly into the washer.
Can I use other laundry additives (i.e liquid fabric softener, ARM &
HAMMERTM Super Washing Soda, Baking Soda, OxiCleanTM laundry boosters, or pre-
treaters) with ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Detergents?
Yes, our liquid detergent products can be used in conjunction with any
commercially available laundry additives.
Can the blue detergent cause a garment to spot or turn blue?
The blue colorant is specially formulated for liquid laundry detergents. The
colorant is water-soluble and it dissipates almost immediately into the wash
water.
Do ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Detergents contain enzymes?
ARM & HAMMERTM Plus OxiCleanTM contains enzymes. All other ARM & HAMMERTM
liquid Detergents do not.
Do you offer a liquid detergent with fabric softener?
Yes, we offer ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Laundry Detergent Plus a Touch of Softener

How do you use ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Detergent Plus a Touch of Softener?
The product can be used simply by adding in the wash the same way that you use
your regular detergent.

What are enzymes and how do they work?
Enzymes are complex proteins used in laundry detergents to catalyse (speed
up) reactions that break up stains so that they can be washed away more
easily. They are not living, although they are produced by living organisms.
Will ARM & HAMMERTM Liquid Detergent Plus a Touch of Softener stain
clothes?
No, ARM & HAMMERTM Plus a Touch of Softener will not stain clothes. The
product uses color-safe colorants that have been tested extensively to verify
“no staining”.
