ALARM PENDANT

1. SOS: When in idle mode, press to activate the SOS function and start the automated dialing of your preset emergency numbers.
When in call mode, press and hold for 2 seconds to cancel the automated dialing of your emergency numbers. -
When in a call: press to increase or decrease the receiving volume. When it is ringing: press to increase or decrease the ringer volume.

Steady: the alarm pendant is not paired with any phone.

Flashes slowly: paired with a phone but its base is out of range.

Steady and the pendant is in the charging cradle: Fully charged.

Remains steady for 3s and a long beep is heard: Successfully registered.

Flashes twice: Off-hook.

3 beeps are heard in quick succession every 10s: Off-hook and signal is weak.

Flashes slowly: In idle mode and not in the charging cradle, the pendant is in standby mode.

Flashing continuously: The phone is ringing.

Steady and the pendant is in the charging cradle: The battery is charging.

Lights up at regular intervals and double beeps are heard: The pendant is low on battery.

The pendant is in pairing mode (after having pressed}| and hold the Vol(+) and Vol(-) keys during 10sec).

Registering the Alarm pendant
For the AMPLIDECT 595 Photo or ULE: To enter the pairing mode press and hold
the /HANDSET LOCATOR button located on the phone’s main base until you hear a
beep.
For the AMPLIDECT Combi 595 or CL595 : To enter the pairing mode, press the
Menu/OK key, and using the ▼/▲ arrow keys select REGISTER then press the
Menu/OK key to confirm.
On the Alarm pendant: Press and hold the VOL+ and Vol- keys until the LED
indicator on the pendant flashes red and blue.
You will hear a long beep and the LED indicator on the alarm pendant will turn
blue and stays on for 3 seconds, indicating that the registration process has
been successfully completed.
USE YOUR PENDANT
SOS Emergency calls
SOS Number settings
You need to register your SOS numbers in the CL595, AMPLIDECT Combi 595,
AMPLIDECT595 ULE or Photo before you can make an SOS emergency call using the
pendant.
You can register an SOS number through a dedicated menu, accessible from a
AMPLIDECT 595 Photo or ULE handset, or directly from a AMPLIDECT Combi 595 or
CL595 main base:
- Press Menu/OK or LEFT SOFTKEY , then using the ▼/▲ arrow keys select SOS SETTINGS.
- Press Menu/OK or LEFT SOFTKEY to show SOS NUMBER.
- Press Menu/OK or LEFT SOFTKEY , then using the ▼/▲ arrow keys, select the SOS number to edit (SOS 1,SOS 2, SOS 3 or SOS4).
- Press Menu/OK or LEFT SOFTKEY twice and enter a new number, or press RIGHT SOFTKEY to edit an already saved number.
- Press Menu/OK or LEFT SOFTKEY then enter the name.
- Press Menu/OK or LEFT SOFTKEY to confirm.
- Press to exit the menu and come back to idle mode.
Make SOS Emergency Calls
Using the pendant:
Press the SOS key on the pendant to activate the SOS function. The numbers
registered as SOS 1/2/3/4 will be automatically dialed one by one (they’ll
each be dialed a maximum of 3 times). A call will first be made to the SOS 1
number. If the person does not answer within 60 seconds, a new call will be
made to the SOS 2 number, and so on.
Note: The person receiving the SOS call has to press a key, any key, to accept
it. That person will also have to press a key every 2 minutes so that the call
does not automatically end. Beep sounds will be emitted every 2 minutes.
Direct Memory Keys
The numbers that can be stored in the M1 and M2 direct memory keys need to be
registered through a dedicated menu accessible from a AMPLIDECT 595 Photo or
ULE handset, or directly from a AMPLIDECT Combi 595 or CL595 main base.
You will then be able to speed dial them using the pendant when in idle mode.
- Press Menu /OK or LEFT SOFTKEY , then using the ▼/▲ arrow keys select PHOTO MEM.
- Press Menu/OK or LEFT SOFTKEY , then using the ▼/▲ arrow keys select the direct memory key to edit (M1 or M2).
- Press Menu/OK or LEFT SOFTKEY twice and enter a new number, or edit an already saved number.
- Press Menu/OK or LEFT SOFTKEY then enter the name.
- Press Menu/OK or LEFT SOFTKEY to confirm.
- Press to exit the menu and come back to idle mode.
Make Calls using Direct Memory Keys
Using the pendant
Press M1 or M2 to dial the direct memory number stored.
