3. Getting started:

  • Open the battery compartment cover (C2).
  • Insert 3 x AA alkaline batteries. Observe the correct polarity “+” and “­”. A “click” is heard when the batteries are inserted correctly.
  • Replace the battery compartment cover.

4. Time Setting

4.1 Manual Time Setting:
  • In time display, press and hold “MODE/ ” button(B1) for 3 seconds to enter Clock/Calendar setting Mode.
  • Press “▼” (B2) or “▲” (B3) button to adjust the setting then press “MODE” button (B1) to confirm each setting.
  • (Press and hold the “▼” (B2) or “▲” (B3) buttons to reach the desired value faster)
  • The setting sequence is shown as follows: Weekday & Month Language, 12/24 Hr, RCC (Radio Clock) ON/OFF, Time Zone, Hour, Minute, Year, Month, Day, DST.
  • There are 8 languages for day of the week and month: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Swedish.
4.2 Radio Controlled Time:
  • When Viso10 is switched on, it will automatically scan the MSF time signal. The Radio Control Icon (A2) flashes on the (LCD) display ­ as indicated below.

  • To maintain accurate time, the clock will 3 automatically synchronize with the MSF radio signal every day at 2.00 am. If synchronization with the MSF radio signal fails, the “ ” symbol on the display will disappear. The clock will then attempt to synchronize with the MSF radio signal at 3am and 4am.

  • To scan the MSF radio signal manually, press and hold the “ ” button (B4) for 3 seconds. Viso10 scans for reception of the MSF signal every 7 minutes. If reception fails, the scanning will stop. on LCD disappear). Scanning will repeat again on next full hour. Example: if scanning failed at 8:20 am, it will scan again at 9 am.

  • To stop scanning MSF radio signal, press and hold the ” ” button (B4) for 3 seconds.

  • DST ” will show on the display to indicate time mode in winter time.

NOTE:
(1) The clock will automatically exit from all setting modes after approx. 15 seconds without any adjustment.

5. Lock buttons

  • Press and hold “▼” (B2) and “▲” (B3) buttons at the same time for 5 seconds to lock all other button controls. The ‘padlock’ icon “? ” is displayed to show that the button controls are locked. Press and hold “▼” (B2) and “▲” (B3) buttons again for 5 seconds to unlock.

6. Precautions

  • The clock will lose its time information when the battery is removed.
  • Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, extreme heat or cold, high humidity or wet  areas.
  • Never clean the device using abrasive or corrosive materials or products. Abrasive cleaning agents may scratch plastic parts and corrode electronic circuits.

The product must not be tampered with or taken apart by anyone who is not an authorised Geemarc representative. The Geemarc guarantee in no way limits your legal rights.
IMPORTANT: YOUR RECEIPT IS PART OF YOUR GUARANTEE AND MUST BE RETAINED AND PRODUCED IN THE EVENT OF A WARRANTY CLAIM.

9. Recycling directives

The WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) has been put in place for the products in end of life are recycled in the best way.
When this product is end of life / no longer working, please do not put it in your domestic waste bin.
Please use one of the following disposal options:

  • Remove the batteries and deposit them in an appropriate WEEE skip.
  • Deposit the product in in a appropriate WEEE skip.
  • Or hand the old product to the retailer. If you purchase a new one, they should accept it.
