Software updating information
Software update procedure is currently not supported. Please install the new u-mation configurator package version 1.5.0 according to the instructions in the manual or use the portable version.

Release date: November 2023
New features:
- Added support for the UR20-1COM-CAN-OPEN
- New CANopen configuration plugin to operate the UR20-1COM-CAN-OPEN in manager mode
Information:
- Executable files are now signed with a proper certificate
Known issues:
- Help app currently only available in English.
- IODD files can lead to overflows using data types of Float64T.

- New additional file format for exporting IO-Link device configurations – “Binary configuration file” (BSC)
- Saving of recent connections
- Editing IO-Link device parameters – restore default values

The u-remote IO-Link Device Configurator can either be installed via the setup executable or used directly with the portable-executable ( file association and more performance only when installed )

- Visualisation – parameter overview represented as tree structure within navigation menu and parameter list
- ZIP file archive import – including manual selection of files that include multiple IODD’s
- Multi-language support – includes the import of IODD specific language files
- Length of process data is now displayed per port and total length in the port overview as well

- Error reporting has improved user feedback
Information:
- The IO-Link Configurator is running on Windows 32-bit and 64-bit operating system. Please install the appropriate software package that fits to your Windows platform either x86 (32 bit) or x64 (64-bit).
Bug fixes:
- Import errors of multiple IODDS is fixed.
