Safety notice
- Prior to work the device must be disconnected from the power supply and potected against re-connection and it must be de-energized.
- This product may only be installed by qualified personnel familiar with the national and international laws, directives and standards that apply to this filed of application.
Intended use
The connector is intended for use only in photovoltaic systems within the
specifications described.
The connector can only be used for connections within one string. In
applications up to 1,500 V the connector may only be used together with cables
that are released for this purpose. Any other usage can lead to serious
personal injury and damage to property. The observance of this installation
instructions is part of the intended use.
Ambient conditions
The components shall be clean during installation. If neccessary please use
the dust cap (see accessories) to protect it from dirt.
- The installed PV-stick shall not be located directly on the roof panel.
- The installed PV-stick shall not be exposed to permanent mechanical load. All cables shall be fixed using cable ties or any kind of strain relief.
Connectable PV cables
The PV cables to be connected must meet the following requirements:
- Appoval according to IEC 62930:2017
- Tinned copper conductor class 5 according to IEC 60228:2005
- Sheathing material comlpying with material group II according to IEC 60664-1:2020
