Product Usage Instructions

Charge:
To charge the Polar OH1 sensor:

1. Place the sensor into the USB adapter with the lens facing up so that the contacts on the sensor and USB adapter meet.
2. Plug the USB adapter into a computer USB port or USB power wall outlet.
3. Do not charge the device when the charging contacts are wet.

Use with Polar Beat mobile app:
To use the Polar OH1 sensor with the Polar Beat mobile app:

1. Download the Polar Beat app onto your mobile device.
2. Turn on the OH1 sensor by pressing the button.
3. Pair the sensor from the Beat settings and follow the instructions provided by the app.

Use with Polar wrist unit:
To use the Polar OH1 sensor with a Polar wrist unit:

1. Download the Polar Flow app onto your mobile device.
2. Turn on the OH1 sensor by pressing the button.
3. The Flow app will automatically discover the sensor and guide you through the setup process.
4. If you prefer to use a computer, install Polar FlowSync from flow.polar.com/start, run it, plug the sensor into a USB port, and follow the instructions provided.
5. Remember to pair the sensor with your wrist unit. Refer to support.polar.com for device-specific pairing instructions.

Wear on your arm:
To wear the Polar OH1 sensor on your arm:

1. Place the sensor into the armband holder with the lens facing up.
2. Wear the armband so that the sensor is on the underside of the armband firmly against your skin.
3. Wear the OH1 around your lower or upper arm, not around your wrist.

Wear with swimming goggles:
To wear the Polar OH1 sensor with swimming goggles:

1. Place the sensor in the swimming goggle strap clip.
2. Attach the clip to your swimming goggles strap.
3. The lens of the sensor should touch the bare skin of your temple.

Start training:
You can record your training session using various methods:

• With a Polar wrist unit
• With the Polar Beat app
• With just the OH1 sensor alone

To start a training session with the OH1 sensor alone:

1. Turn on the OH1 sensor by pressing the button until the lights are switched on.
2. Press the button twice to start the session.
3. When you’re done training, press and hold the button until the lights are switched off.

By default, the OH1 sensor sends your heart rate (HR) signal via ANT+. You can turn it off from the Polar Beat settings if desired.

Maintenance:
To maintain the Polar OH1 sensor:

• Refer to the armband care label for washing instructions.
• Treat the sensor with care.

Charge

When you’re done training press and hold the button until the lights are switched off. By default, OH1 sends your HR signal also via ANT+. You can turn it off from the Polar Beat settings if you want.
