NightSearcher SA Titan Atex Linear Light
TITAN ATEX LINEAR LIGHT – User Manual
The TITAN ATEX LINEAR LIGHT is a 60W LED luminaire that produces 7,380 lumens. It has dimensions of 1281x126x88mm and weighs 7.5kg. The product code for this item is SA-TITAN-LINEAR. It has an IP66 rating, which means it is dust-tight and protected against heavy seas or powerful jets of water.
Installation
The installation, operation, and maintenance of this product must be carried out by an electrician who is suitably trained in hazardous areas with knowledge of explosion protection. The electrical connections when supplied with a 0.5m fixed cable must be made through certified cable glands and junction boxes that meet the Ex requirements. The unused cable entries must be closed and sealed by a certified blanking plug. The cable entry should be rated to a maximum of IP66 to maintain the protection level of the luminaire. Before operating, the installation must be in compliance with any regulations regarding the location where it is to be operated.
Safety Instructions
The technical data indicated on the LED luminaire must be observed. Changes to the design and modifications to the LED luminaire are not permitted. Observe the national safety rules and regulations during installation. There are no field-replaceable parts.
Mounting Instructions
The TITAN ATEX LINEAR LIGHT can be mounted on a ceiling using expansion bolts and washers. The electrical connections should be made through certified cable glands and junction boxes that meet the Ex requirements.
Safe Disposal of Waste Electrical Batteries
If you need to dispose of this product or parts of it, please note that waste electrical products and batteries should not be disposed of with ordinary household waste. Recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority for recycling advice. Alternatively, NightSearcher is happy to take receipt of this product at end-of-life and will recycle it on your behalf.

Product Installation
The installation, operation and maintenance must be carried out by an electrician suitably trained in hazardous areas with knowledge of explosion protection. Ensure that the mains power is disconnected/isolated before connecting the luminaire. Install the equipment in accordance with any other applicable electrical codes. Always transport and store the equipment in its original packaging and keep in a dry location. When unpacking check for any cracks or damage in the housing. If in doubt, do not install! Ensure the Atex Linear light is securely mounted into location using the brackets fixed to the lamp and ensuring, to use the correct fixing for the type of wall/surface, the lamp is being mounted to.

Electrical connections when supplied with 0.5 metre fixed cable:
The cable glands and junction box used must be certified to the Ex
requirements. When assembling the cable entries for the mains connection,
always observe the manufacturer’s specifications for the glands used. Unused
cable entries must be closed and sealed by a certified blanking plug. The
cable entries should be securely tightened to ensure that the minimum
protection rating is achieved.
The cable entry should be rated to maximum of IP66 to maintain the protection level of the luminaire. Prior to operating, the installation must be in- compliance with any regulations in regards to the location its is to be operated.

All NightSearcher products have a 3-year standard warranty on all manufacturing defects and 1-year warranty on all rechargeable batteries from the date of purchase.
Extended Warranty: Customers have the option to extend the warranty of the product to 5 years for manufacturing defects. Registration of the product must be made within one month of purchase by sending us an email sales@nightsearcher.co.uk. In the message please state in your own words that you would like to register your NightSearcher product for the extended warranty.
