Coffee filter replacement for Delonghi® SER3017
Important
The filter was created to become a premium quality alternative for customer who are seeking for a replacement cartridge to be used with coffee makers and other devices employing the Delonghi Aqua filtering system.
- Clean your hands carefully before touching the filter.
- Remove the filter from the packaging.
- To activate the filter, run tap water through the hole in the filter until water comes out of the openings at the side for longer than a minute.
- Extract the tank from the appliance and fill it with water. Insert the filter into the water tank and immerse it completely for about 10 seconds, sloping it to enable the air bubbles to escape.
- Insert the filter in the filter housing and press as far as it will go.
- Close the lid on the tank, and then put the tank back in the machine.
Note: After you replace the filter, if the coffee machine does not work or is noisy, or if its display shows “WATER CIRCUIT EMPTY”, that is because the gas in the coffee machine water circuit needs to be discharged. Please operate according to the Troubleshooting guidelines for the coffee machine.
Care & maintenance
Regularly check the water reservoir to make sure that the cartridge is firmly
in place and the filtering process is working seamlessly. Cartridge replacement
should take place after 100L of use. If the coffee machine remains unused for
more than 15 days, for example while you are out on vacation, it is
recommended to change the filter before using it again.
Warning: Always remove cartridge prior to descaling the machine
